UFO Sightings

I was watching Discovery channel tonight and I saw this very convincing agrument for a sighting over illinois. Has anyone else seen this? I googled to get some info on it and found this site dedicated to the Jan 5th, 2000 sighting.

Very neat stuff, I'll read up on it later when I have more time. It's in my neck of the woods, so that's interesting. To be honest I haven't put much thought into the validity of UFO sightings, but it does seem rather unrealistic to believe that Earth is the only planet to have developed intelligent life.

Was that the show with the top secret aircraft that the US had, shaped like a UFO?

It's on right now, it hasn't ended yet, so i dunno.

It's amazing the amount of equipment they used to re-create the scenario. It definetly sparked my interest in Argon lazers! Cool toys for sure!
