Mushrooms and Epilepsy/Colds

Ok. So first off, I did shrooms last spring and it was a really really low dose and basically I was just really happy. This past weekend I ate half a cap and it was absolutely incredible. I have done a shit load of drugs in my time, but this was by far my favorite. I read on erowid the best description, that it gives you an "at home feeling". I loved it (ask me more about my trip if you want to?)

Colds-

Everyone around me has been sick and I had just started loosing my voice and blowing my nose a bit. I didn't think much of it as a bad thing to do shrooms, but I got really sick these past few days, in fact its 520 am and cannot sleep. I know all drugs are a posion, but am I wrong to think that the shrooms knocked around my immune system a bit and made it worse?

Epilepsy-

I am uncertain of this for sure, but I came to the conclusion yesterday that I may have epilepsy. For the past two years I have been having seziures. I am an idiot because I seriously thought they were "preminitions". In fact it does make sense to think thats really what shamans and other people from history would call seizures since they didn't know what they were.

"A seizure is the outward sign of a malfunction in the electrical system that controls the brain. A single seizure can have many causes, such as high fever or lack of oxygen or poisoning; seizures that occur more than once, without a special cause, are called epilepsy (also called a seizure disorder).

Seizures may be convulsions, brief stares, muscle spasms, odd sensations, or episodes of automatic behavior and altered consciousness."

The altered consciousness is what really caught my eye because if that's true of most seizures, then seeing what appears to be the future could easily just be random neurons being transfered, like a dream. On the note of lack of oxygen and poison...I have only experienced these seizures when I am in bed, very relaxed and almost asleep so that would explain lack of oxygen (plus I am asthmatic and currently I may have strep). I have expeirenced these before I ever took drugs, but very few. They became more apparent as I did DXM frequently (I seriously thought they were preminitions so I did not want to approach my father who is a doctor- but I will talk to him this weekend). The latest one I had happened roughly 24hrs after taking shrooms, so wether or not it has anything to do with it, I am uncertain.

**On a side note.. I can almost bet anyone on this forum has also ventured into the Cannabis forum..meaning they've smoked before. I also came to a conclusion while I was smoking some AMAZING weed, of how seizures develop. I noticed that when I was way too blazed for my own well being I would actually start to trip when I closed my eyes and my body (mostly just my fingers) would start having patterns of movement. If you sped up these patterns it would appear that I was having convusions, but it was almost as if I was able to control it due to how slow it was, and it was so slow due to the weed.**

I would appreciate if you have ANY comments or questions about this topic. The more people and input the better.
