Swim once had a dream that he was rolling. Now I can't tell you for sure that it was the exact feeling but it felt close enough for SWIM to say he was rolling in his dream. I don't remember the dream lasting very long however I have a question. Do you think that there was any real brain chemistry going on? For SWIM to feel that way do you think there was acutally a surge of serotonin? The mind is a powerful thing and I am sure it is capable of that. We just take a pill to make it easier...

I had a dream two nights ago that I met the love of my life at a service for the Temple of the True Inner Light. After reciting the pledge of allegiance and saying a prayer, we all took two rolls. Although I didn't feel any of the x, the dream was one of the most wonderful I can remember, and a deep feeling of intimacy stayed with me for the entire day.

Oddly enough I had exactly the same experience before trying my first pill. It was a great dream: I felt totally elated, inspired and filled with a powerful feeling of love for everything and everyone around me. People had told me it was a drug of love and intense happiness, so I guess I used all my past memories of love and happiness to create the experience in my dream. I tried my first pill a month or so later (the dream got me curious) and the feeling was really similar. It could be my expectations helped shape the experience as well. Either way, my first pill was also absolutely brilliant. I guess the feeling it gives you isn't as hard to describe as other drugs, because most of us know the feeling of love and most of us have felt intensely happy about something, especially in our childhood when everything's new and exciting, which is also a bit like E, which gives that child-like "new and exciting" effect (like an 8 year old kid waking up on Christmas day).
I still have dreams of rolling from time to time. They're pretty cool. |

Yes, your mind is the most powerful drug dealer you will ever meet. Some believe, like myself, that with proper control over ones mind and body that you could use phsycholigical 'anchors' to release brain chemistry to induce the effects of any of your favorite drugs. As a phsychonaut, swim explores the depth of his mind in meditation and under the influence of substances...
in his research swim has successfully 'anchored' a specific 'icon' drawing that he can place on his arm and meditate on as an "anchored ritual" to induce extra soratonin to be released and cause a very upbeat 'rolling' effects complete with speedy sensation and euphoria... unfortunately not nearly as strong as the effect of taking the actual substance of mdma... but getting closer. So, in a dream state, where your subconcsience mind has free reign to explore the depth of your mind and body it is possible to induce the effects of certain drugs... such as mdma. it really is all in your head ... |

He Pink, you been reading up on some NLP??
Sounds like you've been listening to Richard Bandler over there. If not, then you'd definitely dig listening to him as he tosses you in and out of trance at night. He's hilarious, and if you didn't know what you were getting into, I would have no idea that he's a hypnotist who manipulates your sub-conscious into all kinds of crazy trances, teaching you different ways to control your mind by using anchoring, imbedded commands, sensory modalities, and other stuff like that. He's the one who invented anchoring and all those terrible-yet-effective techniques that advertisers have exploited the hell out of by making infomercials. I listened to the same 10 tracks I stole off Easynews from "Design Human Engineering" for probably 6 months. It was the perfect cure for insomnia and every time I listened to a track over again, I was absolutely amazed at how many details I had forgotten &/or had no idea that I'd ever listened to before... supposedly from the natural amnesia brought on by hypnotic trance. BTW, if you don't know who this is or what NLP is--Tony Robbins is a shiny-tooth-dumb-fuck version of what I'm talking about. Well, actually, he's pretty fucking rich from because he's incredibly smart. But he's still a shiny-dumb-fuck to me, I guess. |

Richard- I'll do ya one better, fuck Bandler and his corporate nlp ways, swim is a certified master practitioner and is working on his own 'throght virus' technique of mastering one's chemical state and manipulating ones own world and the world of those around him.
![]() it's awesome that you recognized what NLP is; but please understand that meta-programming is much more than the narrow scope of corporate nlp .... there's much more important things you can do other than helping people quit smoking for $500/pop... helping one open their mind and become the sorcerer of their own reality is what thought virus is really all about. >

SWIM once had a dream that he had taken LSD or 2c-i or some other psychedelic, including full powered visuals. The strange was: the visuals were still there for ~20 seconds after waking up. There was persian carpet pattern moving on my white walls for this ~20 seconds, then everything was normal. SWIM had not taken anything psychedelic for weeks before.

SWIM frequently has dreams where he and a friend are smoking pot, and wakes up with an almost uncontrolable desire to laugh hysterically, with no recollection of anything funny happening, in a dream or otherwise.

Without jacking the thread.......Grinder and Bandler did HELLA research and developement time and they deserve EVERY penny. Last time I checked, the grocery store and the bank don't take intellectual fortitued as payment.....I've tried ![]() Besides I know deep down Bandler is laughing @ the idiots that have had, as he says it, "Too much NLP." Just remember who your daddy is.....Milton H. Erickson M.D. WOOT WOOT That being said, SWIM has said that he had a dream in which he experienced more of the "intoxicated" effects of MDxx and woke up quite dissoriented for a little while.... |
