Storage of your Kratom
So who has come up with a good long term storage method? Given that this new plant will likely not remain available forever, and home growing is not possible unless you live in the tropics with lots of land, what is the best long term storage method for dry plant material?
SWIM left a bag out out and noticed that the premium leaf powder has lost some (though only about 30% or so)of its potency over the last 4-5 months. SWIM was considering vaccuum packing, freezing with surrounding drying agent (ie - rice). SWIM is a little worried about the moisure in a freezer, however, since some reports indicate the potential to mold. Does anyone know if such storage precautions would even impede decomposition of actives ? SWIM will store small amounts of equivalent material with different methods, and report back later on....
