5-Me0-DMT problems

I just recieved 100mg of 5meodmt.. ivesmoked quite a bit of at once.. but all i got was an overwhelming buzz.. no psychedelic activity at all, ive tried snorting some too... it didnt work either. all ive smoked it in is a foil made pipe, maybe that was why or perhaps ill just try smoking more that way. the amount i smoked looked to be between 15 and 20mg... thanks

there was a big batch of 5meodmt going around recently that was bad, keep yer fingers crossed you didn't get any of that.


try it on a foil, or a glassdick/crackpipe. Also, you could try it in a vaporizer.

5-meo-dmt is not particularly fun. In my experience, it has no
visuals, and the primary function is that I cannot tell whether I'm
breathing. Experience for me is around 15 minutes long, but not
particularly pleseant. Not super-bad either, though.
However, if you feel like trying it anyway, vaporizing is much
better. It vapes at a low temperature, although it does taste
like plastic. (but what doesn't, really?). Insufflated
doses are larger than smoked/vaporized ones, so perhaps you didn't dose
high enough when you snorted it.

Eat some with a maoi containing plant. Very dangrous through......do alot of research if you try it that way.

I would test it with one of those quick test lsd / psilocybin tester s. You can test for tryptamines with it and see if 5-meo-dmt is present.

5-meo-DMT is an MAO-inhibitor, it's active orally on its own.

5-MeO-DMT is NOT an MAOi and when taken orally it is braken down and thus not orally active.


In theory, 5-MeO-DMT will keep your MAO busy, but it is a very weak inhibitor and non-effective as MAOi for practical purposes.

Well, both Jonathan Ott and Alexander Shulgin says that 5meoDMT is active orally without an MAOi. Shulgin claimed that it was inactive orally in TIHKAL, but has since demented that.

In large quantities it may be active orally, i guess that's what they're referring to...

Yes, I was a bit premature in saying that it was an MAOi, sorry about that, but it is still an open question as far as I know. Haven't been able to find out how large an oral dose of 5meo would have to be, does anyone know, and is it possible to achieve the same effect with smaller quantities if an MAOi is ingested?

Yes, there are a lot of chemicals of which the issue of being a MAOi or not remains controversial.


I heared that when taking a MAOi,10 mg of 5meo is enough.

pharmahuasca can be very dangerous because when you take a plant containing dmt and/or 5meo dmt a lot of chemicals compounds are present and some of them make than the other don't be so active.?


when you take 5 meo dmt with MAOi you have only the 5meo effect if you experiment a real 5meo dmt trip(smoking) you don't want to be in the same state for 5 or 7 hours with 5meo et MAOi

i read it was active at 150mg + and even then it was hardly strong , smokeing is definatley the best method.

it should look like brown sugar crystals and smell of fart gas as well.it doesnt sound like dmt if you got nothing from a dose like that.i need about 3mgs to be catapaulted through the stratosphere.you do need to flash/burn it though,its no good trying to chase it like its smack.
