Yeah that shit is like the aids epidimic. I wonder how it effects countries other than the US? SWIM has done it probably 30 or so times, and swim also has a very addictive personality. But for some strange reason swim didnt get taken by THAT monster. Dont get me wrong, swim says its enjoyable but the crack rock won the war between the two. At least with swim.

But somebody answer this for me(those who don't live in the US). How long has crystal meth been in your country? Is it not there yet? Has it been around for centuries? For those not in the US, its spread like wildfire the past 5 years. It contributed to the death of swim's cousin, 26 years old.

^^Pretty common here In Canada. Not a far away country or anything but still a different country. It doesn't sound like it's quite as bad as it is down in the states but it is becoming quite a big problem in some parts of the west coast anyway. Can't say how long it's been here for sure. It's seemed to get pretty common starting around 3 years ago. Although this could just be SWIM growing up along with the people he knows, getting into new shit. And if this even is right it could be very different in other parts of Canada.

Yea I have to say that poem was fantastic. Really deep and very well written. As I read it i have all those stories, shows and interviews running through my head of all the people whos lives were ruined on this drug...very impressive

well, swim lives in Bulgaria [eastern europe :], and amphetamine is really a huge drug there.. swim knows shitloads of people who are hooked on it, or atleast are using it on a weekend basis, or somet.. it's so common among young people, mainly because of the prices.. swim can get some for like xxxxxxxxxxxxx, and the amount would be enough for swim to tweak for 3 days non-stop :| (although swim has a generally high tolerance for the drug)..
usually, it comes as this toxic, greasy white powder, cat-piss smelling thing, which can be sniffed, smoked or injected (yea, i know)..
swim thinks this drug's production has grown enormously the last 3-4 years, and it's maybe the second easiest to find drug, to pot..

Swim doesn't think it's THAT addictive, some seem to make it out like after using once or twice you can get hooked, I reckon' thats impossible, sure you might feel a shit, depressed and have ice on your mind for a few days afterward but all will be back to normal after a few days. Its always your choice, you don't become a slave to it unless you use alot.

yep, depends on the city, i guess.. but heroin has been around for ages, and i think it keeps a somewhat 'constant consumer grow' over the years, while amphetamines seem to have taken completely over the market in such a short time.. i was surprised, actually, that it's so big in the US, i thought it was more a poor-country sort of thing

We aint talking about amphetamines here guys. Were talking about Methamphetamine, a drug that is many times more powerful and addictive than amphetamine. And the poem is about Crystal Methamphetamine which is the purest form of the drug methamphetamine. Its called crystal meth because it literally looks like beautiful little crystals shining in the bag. Swim says most of the good crystal meth comes from mexico, although weaker and less pure products are made throughout the united states.

Swim says when its good and uncut it looks like perfect un-crushed crystals in the bag, hence the name crystal meth.

Funny that anyone should say that, because SWIM has noticed that most of SWIMS friends did not become addicted on the first 30 trys. It is a sneaky bastard, and if most people continue just TRYING.... at some point, they are just trying to stop. But they were not addicted...... so it was cool.

SWIM has watched many of her friends, and herself think they had no problem, and did not like it. BE CAREFUL.

What really makes alcohol the king of killers is that its LEGAL, many others if legalized, by default loose most of the negative issues related to them.
