Experiences - Neon lights - DOC report

just to start with some basic info on my dog (i’ll call him scrappy)
height: 1,90 m (6,2 feet) weight: 96 kg (211lb).

i've read a lot of things on DOC to scrappy and he thought that this could be very nice substance to try, especially on the last day of 2005.
i don't have scale precise enough to measure 3 mg, so this was between 3 and 4 mg dose.
a friend of his was coming to my flat to try this new amphetamine based psychedelic. we were alone for all the duration (the duration of my dog’s trip was shorter, scrappy has a very fast metabolism and it kicked in rather earlier for him but it also subsided almost 2 hours before his friend came "down", this is also very usual when they take LSD).


T 0:00 – 0:30
they took their doses around noon, and they could both tell that after 15 minutes they were feeling something. after reading that it needs about 3 hours to kick in they were very surprised that they were already feeling pressure in the head and speedy feeling in the body. nothing much but a definite +1 in mater of few minutes


T 1:00-2:00
scrappy ate 2 hours before ingesting and his friend didn't eat anything that day so about 1 hour after taking DOC he decided to have something to eat. after eating he vomited 2 times, it seems it is very good to eat few hours before the ingestion or at least 4-5 hours into the trip (but you won't be hungry then) scrappy wasn't feeling any nausea at all. in later stage smoking some cannabis helped his friend to get over the sickness. at this time the effects were reminding them to a higher level 2ci comeup. they haven't had a chance to try 2cc which is analogue of the amphetamine DOC so i can't compare it to that.
the colors were getting brighter and the morphing has started at about 1.5 hour point. scrappy had a feeling it was a little deeper version of 2ci and related phen substances, it wasn't showing the depth (at that moment) he was looking for which he enjoys on tryptamines. in about half an hour the body load has increased, on moments he was anxious and after only few minutes he was almost sedated, like on some benzos. scrappy felt a cold rush in his chest muscles (not in his chest actually, but like there was a breeze and he didn't have his shirt on, but ONLY on his chest) this lasted about 10 minutes and the feeling was that DOC is starting to kick in seriously.


T 2:00-3:00
all the that time they were coming up - for almost 2,5 hours at this point - very slowly but it wasn't stopping, it was really going to give them a nice smack on the face. scrappy couldn't believe that this was actually done by amphetamine compound (and that really takes 3 hours to fully develop). people usually describe RCs as a mixture of MDMA and LSD. this was way, way more on LSD side. he was convinced that only LSD could give you this state of mind, or at least very similar to this – but again different then with tryptamines. it was almost plastic and wasn’t causing any confusion that tend to happen with acid. scrappy was watching the TV and let himself go to see what will happen next. the visuals started really strong, he says it is really an eye-candy. everything looks so bright, and it seemed as blue and yellow traces were dancing in his visual field, very nice. he had a big grin on his face when he realized what was happening all the colors had a neon glow in them, especially purple, green, blue and yellow. the next thing he told me was that he was feeling sedated again, sort of drunk. then in the next few moments he just felt a big rush of energy, went to the toilet and felt very strong psychedelic impact on his fragile animal mind – he wasn’t expecting something so strong but so(!) clean, he almost felt it was sometimes to linear and a little bit pushy. his mind opened to a higher level, but still he felt his consciousness was very „plastic“ but fully immerged in the experience. scrappy went back to the room and looked at his friend, he was still in the harsh comeup stage (mostly due to his eating after ingesting) and was still in doubt if this was a good thing to do, but scrappy just gave him one of his psychedelic stares and he was assured he will be VERY good in the next 30 minutes. it was around 3PM at the time but scrappy felt a need to wish his friend a happy new year – a very best and the happiest wish he had in all of his life. this was now a +3 weak to moderate experience.


T 3:00-4:00
then it kicked in for his friend as well - happy thoughts, very bright, very clean and very "radioactive". everything was morphing a LOT. the dissociation that comes with LSD (he usually avoids any communication with "outside" people) was not so expressed.


T 5:00-6:00
the whole come up lasted about 5 hours, pretty long time. at the time scrappy peaked (now a full +3) he went to have a shower, now this was a wonderful experience, he thinks he never had a better shower. i have green tiles in my bathroom, with some small black and different green patterns. it was like he was showering somewhere under a waterfall in some tropical island, very vivid, like the jungle in the "LOST" series. he also spoke with his dog girlfriend (which off course wasn't there) and some other "people". it was very calming and heart opening. after that he had a plateau lasting for about 2-3 hours - it was both euphoric and psychedelic. after that his friend also went to have a shower and he experienced almost the identical thing. no fear or confusion was present despite the mind blow effect that was in their heads. scrappy experienced very different mind and visual patterns than on the other psychedelics.
thinking patterns were very "spacey“ but also very mechanical as well, not the mushrooms „cosmos“ like. you can say the same on the visual field, very „technical“ and cut forms, not as liquid as on tryptamines, but also not as nice as on 2ce - music was enjoyable but not as with 2ce or LSD - it was excellent on the peak but it wasn't the main topic of this experience.


T 6:00-8:00
scrappy was talking to his parents on the phone at 6 hours mark after
ingesting the substance and he could really talk coherent. it seemed to me that he was very normal when he wanted to be so he wouldn't make a fool out of himself and this was also confirmed by his friend after the phone call was over. i think he could easily go out after 5 hours into the trip (but not in a club or something like that) and have a cup of coffee somewhere outside but still feel very strong effects. around 8 hours into the experience he felt that effects were dropping.


T 9:00-11:00
his girlfriend and some friends came by around 9PM. he was feeling
very communicative, while his friend was still in the "dreamland"
at around 11 hours into the experience scrappy was relatively back to normal - some confusion (and a weak headache) took place but nothing serious like with larger acid doses (i think it was caused with smoking cannabis (a lot) near the end of the experience). anyway everybody confirmed they were looking very normal and except for their pupils they wouldn't notice they had something. my friend was still feeling effects till around 1 am after midnight (in the new year). scrappy was mentally at the baseline but still feeling the stimulative effects, not strong but enough not to feel sleepy or tired. he was still not very hungry but sweets felt very energizing.

he told me he has grown fond of this substance and will try again - when this timeframe will be available again
