Side effects - Excess Deliriant Use. Feel Strange

I am 150 lbs. Okay I havnet done this stuff very much at all, over the course of a month I did Diphenhydramine(Benadryl 350mg) once and about 3 weeks later I did Dimenhydrinate(equate motion sickness 600mg) which was on a saturday and I did it again the following wednesday(equate motion sickness 750mg). It has been 4 days since I last did it and I havent been the same since. I have been perceiving the world very weird and dreamlike. I seem to do everything normal but just the way I look at things is weird, it is very hard to describe and I am really getting worried. I was wondering if anyone has experienced long trips that lasted a while like this.

When I was younger I had sleeping problems during the week so I bought OTC sleeping pills that contained 50 mg diphenhydramine. Anyway, a double dose was somewhat effective, but the next day I always felt like a zombie, and the world felt off tune. Considering that you take 3-7 times that in a night, it's not suprising that your brain is a bit fried. Give it time, you'll recover soon enough, but make a personal note of the results of your experiences.

Dimenhydrinate, and similar products used for motion-sickness, act as anti-cholinergic hallucinogens in higher doses than directed. Read: They act on your brain in a similar fashion to the alkaloids found in Jimson Weed and other members of the genus Datura.

These can, indeed, have long-lasting effects on people. Datura has been known to bring about a permanent psychotic state in some individuals. I have personally met some victims of repeated use of Jimson Weed who never came back fully. They did odd things like become devoutly religious and weird.

While Dimenhydrinate is of a much shorter duration than it's Daddy, the Daturas, it is a mind-bending delirient causing hallucinations that the user cannot distinguish from reality. Unlike things such as LSD25 or psilocybin. My best advice to you is to stay away from these compounds - execpt for motion-sickness. They do work. Your current state of unreality will pass. Take vitamins, eat good meals, sleep at regular intervals. And stay away from ALL drugs at least until you are back to whatever is normal for you.
