ever received the wrong RC?
imagine you order some 2c-i, you receive a small baggie of "2c-i", you ingest 20 mg, you notice very quickly during the come up that it feels different, and MUCH MUCH stronger, and it turns out that you haven't received 2c-i, but DOC or something like that that needs MUCH smaller doses.
has anything like this ever happened to you or someone you know? just wondering... |

This happened to a guy over on bluelight, he took 5mg of his "2-ci" to test it and ended up in hospital, it was probably DOI.

Yea SWIM has heard about that but is 5mg of DOI really such a high dose? FOAFAFAFAFAF SWIMS have taken 4.5 mg and other people have reported higer doses. SWIM is not underestimating the danger of getting the wrong compound because 20mg of DOI could be deadly. Luckily he only took 5mg. Did he really have to go to the hospital though? Sure he was probably scared and the trip wasnt what he expected, but in SWIMS FOAFOAFAFAF experience 5mg DOI was much longer lasting and more stimulating than 22 of 2c-i but with less visuals.
SWIMS can only thank god that it hasnt happened to them. It seems that most suppliers have their act together and have been sending the right compounds. SWIM has heard of another supplier who has been said to send the wrong product but it was something like 4-aco-mipt and 2c-i mixed up. Also this was a while ago. It wouldnt make so much of a differece with 2c0i and 4-aco-mipt though because 30mg of either one of those drugs is pretty safe, but entirely different. SWIM cannot express how dangerous this COULD be but it seems like the dude at blue light just got scared because of the unexpected effects. Other SWIMs have purpousely taken 7+mg and not had to go to the hospital, they were fine. Either way this is not the kind of mistake a supplier needs to make. Your life is basically in their hands. If you dont have a scale and do volumetric measurement then you must also have faith that your supplier put in the wrong amount. Say for some reason you got 2 grams instead of 1, your doses will be twice as strong. You could take what you believe to be 30mg of 2c-i which turns out to be 60mg! SWIM hasnt heard of this happening either but these kinds of mistakes could turn out deadly. You cant be too safe when it comes to rcs. Weighg your dose andstart with a small sample just to be sure that you are injesting what you intented. Luckily in this situation the guy only took 5mg. That dose shoudlnt have cause such adverse reactions in SWIMs opinion, probably just not what the guy expected. Be safe.....peace |

There were other people who ordered from the same supplier that mixed up 2c-i and DOI and there have been other hospital visits because of this mix up.
the guy that took 5mg just panicked because he wasnt expecting a trip of that intensity from such a small dose (evidently 5mg is a pretty large dose for DOI) and so went to the hospital. Also i remeber before webtryp it wasnt all that uncommon to recieve more product than you actually ordered. I heard of situations where it was twice as much. Always have a scale, always test your RC's at low doses before jumping in to the high ones. be safe cat |

A friend of mine ordered 2C-I from an american RC supplier (a year before the anolog crackdown) he and his girl took 20mg of what they thought was 2C-I but instead of the happy go lucky but speedy trip they got a +++ miles from home in a park and full paranoia. It was later determined that the substance was 2C-E.

Your friend was lucky that at least it was a compound with a similar dosage range as what he was expecting.

Absolutely it could have been worse. but the lesson he learned is simple.. get 100mg of something white/powdery weigh out 1mg and see.
Luckly some stuff smells like corn chips. |

Are there even reagent testing kits for 2c-i?
I know the Mecke reaent can test for 2c-t7 but what about the rest? |
