How does your pet react.

SWIM had a strange experience last weekend. He and his friends had taken some XTC tablets and were having a great time but a problem emerged we had little to no weed on us.
A friend mentioned he had plenty at home but didnt feel like walking there and asked swim if he would drive him there which swim, cause he knows from experience how dangerous it is, declined.
After some discussion Swim and a-friend's girlfriend went by foot which is quite a long walk.
When they got to the house and entered it, the couples dog started acting very afraid. He was running around fraticly with his ears flat on his head and urinating everywhere.
A-friends girlfriend freaked out of course and decided to take him back to the private party. At that party the dog continued acting weird and even growled and barked at us sometimes.
Swim was wondering if any of you had a similar experience with pets?
He's not convinced at all it was the pills but he's keeping it open as an option and is curious if someone has had this happen to him also.

Though proving such would be near impossible, dogs and cats can and do react to changes in peoples head spaces. A "contact high" if you will. Bongo had a cat that knew when Bongo had ingested MDMA. The cat would always come up to Bongo and lick the sweat off his body and purr very loudly. She would stay at Bongo's side for the full duration of Bongo's experiment.

All in all, I would prefer a purring cat to a pissing dog! LOL.

SWIFMS has also noticed that his pets "know" when things are a wee bit twisted in the headspace. Most often noticed with mushies. Not scared and running around pissing, but definitely curious and slightly apprehensive.

Ya sure animals get it they can sense it but they ain't all down with it, only the cool ones. Shame my dog isn't cool he acts quite strange when i'm on mushies, actin' like he didn't know me and my mate then gettin' all ferocious and barking like a mad man barks when he mimics a crazy dog, ole Pepto he's an odd one alright.

Yngwei the cat certainly knows when SWIM comes in gunted.

"Stroked to Death"

Actually SWIM needs to take Yngwei out with him. Something appeals about giving a cat some serious loving whilst discombobulated.

SWIM has heard many people say that cats and dogs can absorb MDMA through your sweat when yo are rolling. SWIM is going to call complete bullshit on this one. SWIM has tried to argue with people on this one but it just doesnt work! Some animals might repoond positively since you are showing them gratitude but they arent actually rolling.

I don't think MDMA is excreted in it's original form through sweat. But animals can read your head. And that 25 pound Maine Coon-Cat enjoyed her salt lick from Bongo. Bongo would never give a puddy~tat anything stronger than catnip. He hopes no one would do that.

Swim has rolled in the presence of a dog twice. Each time the dog was very friendly and would not object to the extra amount of love, petting , and playing given to it. SWIM is sure that the dogs know something is up. When rolling you do act and look differenty which dogs notice. They are animals and do have instincts just as we do. Some dogs will react cautiously while others are brave enough to dive right into the action...

UPDATE:
Aparantly the full story is these people had moved a few days before to a new house and left the poor thing by itself while going on a long pillbinge.
They've been to the vet and he says their dog is just depressed .

Just goes to show how MDMA can stop making your brain draw simple logical conclusions .

SWIM's kitten swallowed half of a 10mg ambien pill and swim's bestfriend, stared at the kitten for hours saying, " it's going to die, it looks so sad, it's frowning", lol. Kitty ended up being fine and all was good...who knows if the kitten really had a sad look on his face or if SWIM's friend was just totally ambien-fied! It was a funny experience!
