Question Whats inside Snurf's?!
Recently SWIM and a friend went to a local head shop and noticed someone buy some pills of some sort, so SWIM asked the workers what exactly they were and they replied by saying, "There Snurf's, basically there herbal ecstasy!". SWIM and her friend just giggled, knowing there is no such thing as actual herbal ecstay. SWIM's friend called the same local head shop a few differnt times since then to ask if they knew exactly what sort of ingredients were in the "snurf's", but no such luck. I was hoping someone could help SWIM out, what exactly are snurfs made of and how much of it? SWIM's guessing alot of ephedrine?

Grr, i hate when people tell me that! I know how to use the search engine and I did! I find nothing telling me what ingredients are inside of a Snurf pill. All i read is that, "they are herbal ecstacy!" and i find places online to buy them, but nothing on what's inside, maybe someone else could still help?!

First off, the drug is DXM, and I highly doubt they would put it in pills for human consumption in the amounts to get high off of, wouldn't that fall under being illegal?

Yes SWIM believes it is DXM. He has heard this before on the forums SWIM believes. Do you really want to take something that you dont even know the contents of though? Seriously there is no telling what it could be. If they dont take the time to inform you what is in it then you should not take the time to buy it. SWIM believes one of the legal high pills contains 4-ho-dipt. What would happen if some unsuspecting kid took too many not knowing what it was. If these companies have any sence they would not be selling these products at all, and if they did they would atleast write the ingredients in the pills and the amount. Just UTFSE and stay away from products like that.

Ahh...booo! This thread turned out not like how i had hoped. Let me just state the fact that I know how to use to freakin' search engine, geez! I was just asking for a little help! And it doesn't seem like anyone wants to go out of there way to help me. I can assure you that it doesn't contain DXM, i have found out that much! But, i'm still unsure what the full ingredents are! And someone left a post and said, to just read the label on the box. Well, I would, execpt they don't come in boxes. They are just little colored pills that are in little baggies.
They have to be legal though, because they sell them at my local headshop and I live in the United States and you don't just away with selling pills legally, if the pills are actully illegal...it just doesn't work that way.
Ahh oh well. Thanks for everyone who tried to help.

how to UTFSE for snurf
1) click the "search" button near the top of your screen

2) enter the text "snurf" into the box which appears

3) read the threads which appear

4) (optional) If your question is not answered, post it in one of the existing threads on the topic.

They sell these things at the local headshop? Wierd. SWIM is guessing they wont tell you what is in it? It wouldnt hurt to ask them about it. SWIM would be even more skeptical now if they are just some random pills in a baggie sold at a head shop. They probably dont contain anything illegal but it could just be some homemade pill that someone at the headshop made. It could be a number of things and maybe not something anyone here could identify. If there is no label and no box then this is a red flag!

Snurf Test
SWIM usually ignores ads for "herbal highs" given the reputation they have for being caffinated duds. However, SWIM thought that this brand of herbal highs seems to be erring into the grey area of the law or maybe they found something new to put in their products.


SWIM hasn't used dxm for about five years now. However, SWIM is very familiar with the effects of dxm given SWIM's few years of dxm use. I will post a trip report in the main "herbal highs" section soon.
