Hiding Stash
I am starting to accumulate a variety of items that I would not want to be found if my house was searched.
Any ideas on where to hide all this stuff (aboue a 2' x 2' box full)? Has anyone had their house searched? |

The following is in no way intended as an instruction on how to break any law. It is intended for informational purposes only. All non-essential items should be kept off-premesis, as should those that if they were found, the consequences would not be worth the convenience of having them close by. Assuming you're not up to maintaining a safe-house, your two best bets are public location stashes and/or a safe-deposit box. The purpose of a public-place stash is convenience and lack of a trail leading back to you. Generally you will be dealing with outdoor locations, and will want to do your homework regarding weatherproofing a package and setting it up so that it is easily accessable without risking drawing any sort of attention. One of the major downsides to a public location is thatsomething valuable to youmay walk away in the hands of someone who accidentally stumbles upon it, or more likely, in the hands of one of your trusted associates. Thorough thought and what-if planning is a must -- one cannot afford to be lazy about such decisions. The safe deposit box is obviously less convenient (you don't want useful items locked in the bank on friday night), but for long-term storage of small items, there's nothing better. That is assuming of course that you don't do anything that will cause the police to have enough reason to get a warrant to open your box. Also, it is always possible to go the route of opening a safe deposit box under an assumed name. However, I get the feeling that you're not quite that motivated, so I'll spare the details. If I'm wrong, let me know. All that which just has to be stored inside your house needs to be approached with measured care. Just thinking up a good hiding place isn't going to cut it. Whoever would be searching your house is not going to be stupid, so one must take extra care not to do anything remotely obvious. My suggestion would be to sit down with a friend or two and make a list of every place that you could possibly think of to hide goods. Then, make sure that you don't use any of those ideas, no matter how brilliant they seem. Get creative, and be sure to find your balance of convenient access and thorough hiddenness (ifhiddenness isa word -- you know what I mean.) Also, one must make a habit of properly storing any contraband items. For instance, thoroughally clean any drug paraphanelia so that if it is found it will not be directly incriminating. Using common sense is great, but the only way to ensure not being taken off gaurd is to come up with smart procedures, and follow them as a course of habit. I don't know how many stories I've heard about houses that have been torn apart because someone hid a firearm very well, but left ammunition out in the open. "Hide the bullets" should have been a specified andinstinctive step in all cases. Inspiration for actual hiding places can be found in many books written on the subject (a few that I know of are available through pendallin press, and many others are now out of print. Internet searches should turn up quite a few.) I say inspiration because if it's in print, there is a good chance that the authorities are going to be looking for the trick -- don't just copy anything that you read about. However, such books will give you that spark to help realize how to apply a newprinciple to a novel application. If you put in enough thought and effort, you're sure to find an almost foolproof solution. Good luck! |

When travelling, one might also want to think of sending by mail the items that are too important to lose but too incriminating to bring to an airport, such as scale, used pipes, grinders, etc. |

bulida outside stash safe....think and be creative and you will figure it out...find something (container)airtight and watertight...useanti~moisture bags for added safetyand last and very important....keep the location to only yourself.....trust me it works...keep your house clean at all costs...I know of at least three of these outside stash safes and they work beautifuLLy if built with some amount of integrity......cops never find them.....if you live in a rural location its better but they can be built anywhere...just be creative and use common sense...anything kept in a house can be found...knowledge is the key and some basic know~how. Cops are basically stupid in many cases but anyone can find that hiding place in your home if given enough damage to uncover...iy might take some time to build but it can be done by almost anyone.....tip...the inside of a tree can be awondefuL stash boxwith a little modification...... |

My friend stashed his stuff under some leaves in the empty lot next door. He puts the stuff about three feet away from his property thinking that the cops need a warrent to search next door.

In reality, if the police had an inkling that something was hidden 3 feet over the line, they may search around until they found it. it would be up to your friend to prove what happened in court. my guess is that "There's no way they found that on my property because I stashed it next door!" wouldn't come off too well.

My friend is not too bright. I told him that all the police had to do is say they saw it from his property.

if ur that worried about being searched i suggest carrying less drugs. its ok to call your dealer up every couple of days instead of buying that O and keeping it somewere in your house.

If people search your house in your presence, a technique they are
taught to use is to watch your eyes. Most people's eyes flick over to the spot where their things are hidden to make sure they're not still out or anything, and this is how most cops find where people hide stuff. If this happens to you, concentrate very hard on looking anywhere but where you have everything hidden. As for actually hiding things, I've heard of people opening cell phone batteries and putting thins in those, but I'm not sure if dogs would still be able to sniff it if you put stuff there. The best way for people to not find anything is if you don't hide it on your property, so try doing that. |

I once heard of someone who hid their stuff in in a tank with their pet snake. their house got raided once and the cops went nowhere near it. Not sure if its a true story. just read it on the net somewhere

Ignoring the danger of actually driving around with "something" in your
car, does a search warrant for a house include vehicles the occupants own? |

Assuming nothing would be adversely effected by freezing what about
inside a hunk of ground hamburger inside the freezer(in a ziploc bag of course!). I think the thing to do here make sure you don't shit where you sleep so to speak, don't do buys in front of your house(sells either!), don't have dealers meet you, don't host parties where someone can freak out and start screaming(has happened with RCs). Just keep a low profile around your house, nosy neighbors can fuck you too. |

Hiding illegal items in public locations sounds like a stupid idea for many reasons. 1. No matter where you hide it sooner or later someone, probably a kid, will find it. 2. If your hiding drugs you better hope said kid does not poisen himself. 3. If your stash is found and reported to the police it is possible, especially if that kid is poisened, to trace it back to you. The location could be watched for a period of time. If your going their often you could be caught in the act of retrieval. If you are keeping illegal items in your home no hiding location is 100% safe. If the police search long enough they will find it. Best way to avoid this is to live a low profile life. Do everything you can to make sure the police never have a reason to take any notice of where you live. |

well if you are really worried, vaccume packing shit before stashing it
throws off dogs. Be creative, the harder for you to get to it, the harder it is for them to find it. They will if they search long enough, but if it is a quick search, you can beat it. |

Another tip.. If you do make a habit of having supplies at home, have tehm all together in a non obvious bag, make sure a trusted friend or two knows this and the location of teh bag. this way if your ever out and get caught indulging use your fone call to ring your mate and inform them of your situation, they can then go to your house before the old bill do, retrieve the bag of supplies and save you getting screwed harder. yes they might just rob your stash, but theyre doing you a favour! |

just burry it in a location that no one will ever think of digging and do it at night time so now one will ever know where it is simple.and even if police are reading this they are not going to go around digging wholes every where cause what the odds they would find it anyway?.and vacum seal it obviously to aviod water damage Edited by: dr ACE

Does it all have to be stored together? Remember, lots of electronics (TVs, Stereos, ect.) have a LOT of extra room inside... Why not get a stereo and modify it so only the radio part works, but not the double cassette deck ect... Gut all the parts that aren't needed, and you have tons of room. Just anchor the stash so it doesn't rattle around. Be creative, there are a ton of ways to hide things. |

If the vehicle is registered to the listed person(s) on the warrant then yes it can be searched. It could be parked infront of the neighbors house and get serched it dosent have to be on the property. So sometimes it will include the cars, and other times it wont Muirner |
