I know this works on heroin and cocaine, it probably works on the drugs that have a detection time of a couple days. Not sure if it will work on pot. Here's my experience. I'm in an out-patient program and a i screwed up. I used about 3 grams of heroin and about a gram of cocaine. I knew they drug tested at the place so the next morning I just started drinking a shit load of water. I drank enough so that my piss was really really light yellow. I pissed up until about an hour before the drug test (to flush out what I could), and kept drinking water. When I took the drug test I pissed clean, and they don't use the cheapo drug tests either, they use the really exact ones they do in the labs. So anyway, hope this can help someone out. Just to be clear I used the day before the drug test and I was home free. I've heard you need to eat vitamins to disguise the fact that your piss is so dilluted, but I didn't and I was fine. Probably can't hurt though.

Another possibility is that the h didn't have time to be absorbed enough to be detected in a urine test. I've known a few cases where someone has tested negative the day after taking a substance, and tested positive the day after, and hadn't taken any more of the substance in question in the meantime. You were really lucky that they didn't ask for another sample, Taco.

That said, don't rely on the chance that a drug may take a while to filter through - clearance time is dependent on metabolism, activity and other variables - and certainly don't rely on diluting your urine - if there is the slightest suspicion that a sample has been diluted most places will ask for another sample.

Remember kittlings - the only guaranteed way to pass a drug test is to not take drugs!

SWIM had that experience. After smoking marijuana for the first time (and boy did he smoke a lot) he was drug tested at work the very next morning by coincidence. Tested negative for THC metabolites. What a fluke!
