I'm curious too see if there are any really good ideas out there on the following:


Is there a way to determine with certainty that a person is not working for law enforcement either as an employee or as an informant? The old "if you're a cop you have to tell me" trick is just a wives tale, as is the "why don't you do a line so I know I can trust you before we talk business" method. Police officers can lie to you and do all the drugs they want, as can anyone who's cut a deal with them.


Any novel solutions to this hypothetical problem?

Don't do business with people you don't know, and if you have to meet someone, use a taxi. May I ask why you are so worried?

one way is to tell them your a cop and your wearing a wire... if they kill you... then they are not a man of the law...



what you should do is know the person... or someone you know that has had good business with them... if your going to be involved in somethin illegal... you should always expect that your going to get caught... and usually its the paranoid person that does... just play it smart man...it's usually the least safest to go upto a random man and ask for drugs... go through connections at very least... or dont get involved at all... it's a risk.. and u shouldnt expect to be able to safely get involved... know the consequences and accept them... or move on...

Thanks for your input everyone. Just for the record, I've always followed the advice given above (except for claiming to be wearing a wire!), and am considered extremely thorough to the point of paranoia by many of those I've worked with. Complaints aside, it's always worked so I must know what I'm doing. I was just curious to see if there were any novel ideas about how to use legal loopholes to route out law enforcement. Apparently there are no shortcuts in life.

see what i would do if you really really want to be sure is like ask a girl to come with you and ask the "cop" to touch her titties cause cops cant do that its agenst the law like when they bust hookers they cant touch them thats how they tell who is a cop or not by if they cop a feel or not lol i like that

Undercover bust hookers all the time. Where swims friends are from. The undercovers have sex with the hooker before the arrest. This way there is no dening that she will have sex for money. There was a big prostition ring that got taken down this way. Some of the hookers did not get arested until weeks after having sex with the undercover. The undercover even had pics

I have moved almost 200 miles from where we used to live so all our normal connections have disappeared, but on occasion which is not really often enough you will come accross someone, Hell I found out through the roach coach driver that one of the guys I work with would be a good connection. It took 14 months but its worth being safe than sorry.

It's your word against the cop.Who's gonna believe the drug dealer here? Doesn't matter what they say or do.If they want to take you down they're gonna lie and do whatever it takes.

You damn right they're gonna f**king lie. You see, cops keep stats on themselves, kinda like professional atheletes track of yards ran per game or all time batting averages. They keep track of their arrests that leads to convictions. When dealing with drugs or prostitution, you bet they will lie to get that conviction. As you said, it's their word against a person if questionable moral background. The cards are stacked in their favor when they lie.

How do you suggest we do that? Police departments already have ethics/conduct/oversight boards that supposedly investigate this crap, but it's all window dressing.

Could just take over the US and let the people do waht they want, but everyone would die eventually. i dont know how we can stop police corruption and all that jazz. But im sure there is a way.

We can start off by getting Bush and John Ashcroft out of office.Ralph Nader will legalize marijuana if he wins the presidency.So vote for him if you want to do something about these drug laws.

I don't see how getting Bush out of office will solve police corruption. The police are corrupt already regardless of the drug issue.



As for the legalization of marijuana, not anytime soon. The vast majority of americans still view it as objectionable. The only solution is to educate people. It really boggles my mind how people can put alcolhol above weed. How many people have you known to plow through a crowd of people while faded?

You know it wouldnt be that hard to educate the public about marijuana. I say we try it.

Some folks are just anti-drug, period. They don't care if its crank, crack, pot, acid, pills- some Americans are very offended by illegal drugs and people who use them. If everyone bought drugs, drug dealers would sure be richer than they are now...there would be lots of "job" openings...it sure would be fun to take a job like that- if the bags weighed out- money could be made. But I couldn't stand tospin nice peopleout and watching them lose it...that's not too cool..

lol In many counties, an undercover detection can touch a prostitutes breasts, and in some counties can even beging to engage in casual sex. Besides, in in counties where they can't, it won't apply to drug deals. (as the counties that don't allow a cop to touch a prostitute is due to "entrapment" settlement cases.)


Besides all that, most drugs busts in the U.S. are not from selling to a cop, but 99% of the cases it's somebody that is in the drug culture and is "narking on 3 to go free." And they CAN have sex with you, do your drugs, etc. (well actualy most drugs busts occure in the U.S. because of driving with a suspended license, which in 48 states allows the cop to search your car.)


The best way to go about without geting busted (although it usually happens to us all eventually) is to only sell to who you know or those that you know bring to you andvouch for. (but keep in mind, your best friend my narc on you if he gets busted, cops can be persuasive.) Never do business in your household, if you have children in the house especially. If you deliver, deliver a box of crackers or sealed envolope rather than a sack. If you "hussle" on the street, do not give out your real name, and make your buyer tell you exactly what they want and how much. (many counties don't allow the cop to ask directly but rather intice you into saying it, for entrapment reasons.)


Hope this helps out a few of you. But keep in mind, selling a lot of little sacks will rarely ever pay your bills. Grow your own stash and let your friends sell it, and you may actually see a couple bills come your way.

Interesting to note that although the police are indeed corrupt, they are often corrupt on our side. Once one gets exposure to the drug industry, he realizes that the police are on the take just as much as anyone else. It's only smalltimers who have to worry -- they're the ones who the police target so that they can show they're tough on drugs.


In my mind, it would be wise to make police departments in charge of traffic tickets, keeping the peace, etc. and leave drug enforcement to someone else. By allowing local police to oversee antidrug operations, they're just asking for importers to buy the most corruptable branch of law enforcement.

Doesnt the DEA have alot more power in drugs than the police do?

Yes, the DEA and local Drug Task Enforcement usually are the investigators. Police usually make drugs busts by chance, usually by puling somebody over with a suspended license and searching a vehicle.
