SWIM wants to know if he has a Cannabis Club Card and his work piss tests him and he comes up positive for THC could his work fire him or is it ok because he has the card?

Fired. A work place can require you not to be under the influence of any narcotics, even if described. However you may look into Disability.

The way to keep your job, even though you are smokin your ass off, is: Get a prescription for Marinol (which is LEGAL). Marinol will show up as a Positive for Pot. Then, show your prescription bottle to the testing agency. This will keep your job.

This does NOT mean that you have to actually take the Marinol. It just gives you the ONLY valid excuse for testing Positive (and it works).

Marinol can be picked up at any drug store (with a prescription). Cannabis buyers clubs only sell "Real" marijuana. The drug stores only sell synthetic marijuana.

The same Doctor who gives an authorization to smoke Pot can write a prescription for Marinol. If not, then get one from your treating Doctor.

Marinol has been known to be called 'caramels' amongst the socal residents. I would look into it. The only reason marinol is prescribed is for anorexia with AIDS, but i'm sure if you are in the club, you can obtain it pretty easily.

This has been discussed, at length, in another Thread. Even the DEA, on their website, states that they are funding Medical Studies into the use of Marinol for Chronic Pain, and in MS sufferers. And the original Study was for Cancer patients (which got the DEA to push Marinol onto Drug Store shelves).

While Marinol is FAR from as good as KindBud, it does offer help to 1000s of people. Many patients are afraid to purchase Pot, so their only option is Marinol. And, if something can work at all, I am for it being available (so those few can benefit by it).
