ok i dont mean to be an ass or anything. but ive been readin about salvia and hearin all these stories about ppl almost goin off into diffent worlds and shit. so i got all excited awhile back and said well shit i gotta try this lol...ive done it prolly 3-4 times since. i gotta admit its a powerful drug but i never saw anything, never went off into any alternate universes lol..
i smoked it from a glass pipe with a torch lighter and kept it in my lungs for like 30 seconds. and ive tried 10x and 20x. am i doing something wrong here? or is this shit just BS? lol

What did you experience that makes you call it "a powerful drug"?

Peoples minds have a way of translating their experiences on psychedelics into something compatible with their personality. If a person has a mystical bent to their personality, their trips tend to have mystical importance.

I really don't care what other people experience from salvia any more to be honest. What I saw is what I saw, and what someone else gets out of it is not my concern. I recall one post here where the guy was claiming that all salvia users were lying about they're experiences for some reason. Most people who don't trip from salvia were not smoking the extract, or they weren't smoking it properly.

i dont doubt you at all. but im thinkin maybe its different for some people. what i felt was..the second i blew the smoke out it felt like something jus grabbed me. i felt really cold and spaced out. also for some reason i couldnt speak right. it felt like my tongue was swolen or something and id have a hard time speaking. my hands felt like there was like 100000 needles poking them. allthough, before i did it. a friend of mine did it...she did 20x for her first time and she was freaking out saying there was a snake in her hair lol. she swore to have seen it so i guess i believe her. i dunno im gonna try it again sometime and see how it goes. even though i never tripped right out...it was still a fun drug. its also fun to see other people do it lol

Same here. I've heard it called "Salvia gravity". For me, it came from the West (my original facing direction), and continued to be from the West no matter which direction I turned. I can understand how some might interpret this as spirits, aliens, discorporeal beings if the person was in the right mindset.

THis is all that my brother ever gets from Salvia -A numb tongue and lips! It's really frustrating because we allways share new found psychedelics (mushrooms/cacti etc) and compare experiences, with salvia - I experience another utterly unexplainable dimension, my ego dissapears and I'm shown a wonderfull 'behind the scenes' reason for existance that I can't fully comprehend....... and All he gets is damn numb lips!!!!!!!! )

We smoke the same extract in the same method with the same bong and torch lighter but the resulting effects are so different.

Ive heard that some people are just 'Salvia hard heads' - mabe the only thing that would do the trick is a tincture or pure salvinorin A or something.

Its a shame that not everyone gets to experience this amazing plant the same way.
