i hope this forum is the correct one.

what is your longest trip? i think i had mine today which started at 7pm with coke and then at 12am with alcohol+coke around 6am with crystal meth and currently its afternoon feeling still fit and good, more like in a "chill-chill" feeling.

had its ups and downs but all over was pretty good. ok it was also the first time that i "played" two types of drugs at one day. just a bit strange that im the only one who didn't fall a sleep in the early morning, all my friends passed out.

so, started 7pm and going on up to now about ... 17-18 hours

Probably DOB. Somewhere around 2mg and it lasted about 20 hours. LSD also is a long lasting trip. SWIM had one experience that lasted about 18 hours.

I've tripped for 18 hours on Ayahuasca. Longest time I've continuely done drugs is about 27hours from 3pm one friday to 6pm the following saturday.

Has anyone experimented with ibogaine? SWIM has heard it is very long lasting so maybe someone in here has tried it can post the duration.

Bongo tried a very small amount of ibogaine once many years ago. Perhaps 50mg or so. At this dosage it felt like a psychedelic cocaine. The mind was focused on past events that had angered Bongo. These effects abated after a few hours, leaving Bongo feeling very up and rather anxious - like amphetamines after the peak.

From most literature I have ever read, and I read as much as I can lay my paws on about ibogaine, a large dose to "break open your head and make you meet your ancestors" will last about 2 days. As done by the Bwiti*, they take more during the experience to prolong the effects - the initiation lasting 3 days or more before the person is required to recount their voyage and the insights achieved.

* The Bwiti Cult of Gabon, in Western Africa, has been using Iboga for as long as their recorded history. Now mostly diluted with Christian overtones due to French colonialism and missionaries. there are still pure practioners to be found. Deep in the jungle away from roads. Interestingly, the Bwiti are considered a national religion every bit as respected as the Christian church is there. Unusual as the Christians tend to dominate and enforce their laws - or else.

Psychedelic cocaine sounds great... that's what I need. DON + DOM lasted the longest of anything in the series for me, but my first experiment with Jimson Weed extract was the longest experience I've ever had... approximately two days.

I've been reading about ibogaine.. It seems to me that its more potent than some of the illegal substances... I can't believe its not controlled in any way?

Ibogaine and its salts etc are Schedule 1 in the US. It has similar scheduling in just about all other countries. It really depends on how you use the word potency. It becomes active at ~200mg, but doses over 1gm are common.

My longest Trip, at least so far? Hmm, it happened not too long ago.

Last September, The Beach Boys came to Marin County (just North of San Francisco). It was a Sunday. I had a 4-hour song-fest scheduled for that morning (7 to 11). Then the Concert started at 3 PM. I only heard about the Concert a couple days beforehand, so I wanted to be UP for it, but long after my Peak. (I Trip for 12 hours on the 4-??-DiPTs, with an 8-hour Peak.)

I took a standard dose of 4-HO-DiPT at 5-something that morning. Then, at 12:34 that afternoon, I re-dosed (incidently, my first time re-dosing). I was back On-Fire for their 2-hour Concert. I was singing along with them. It was pretty fun.

My Peak held-out until 8 PM, and I was still experiencing closed-eye visuals at 2 AM, as I drifted off to sleep. So I Tripped from 6 AM to 2 AM: My 20-hour Trip.

This is as along as I would ever want to do. This is one reason I have never tried AMT (famous for its 17-hour Trips). If I could find a 24-hour party some day, that would be a good time to experiment, but until then, 12 hours is more-than-enough for me.
