Just letting you know, this post belongs in the Kratom Forums
Private Reserve Kratom
Extract is known to be hit or miss, mostly miss.
In fact, after doing a forum search about "Private Reserve", I found this post
, in which you were already given that information. While sometimes some people need a bit higher dosing with extracts than "recommended", there's just a damn good chance your friend isn't going to respond to this particular Kratom extract. Sorry to say.
No, Kratom doesn't work nasally, and one CANNOT INJECT KRATOM, IN ANY FORM!!! It's not cleaned up enough for that, and a cotton filter ain't gonna clean it up enough either. It's meant to be eaten, that's all. Injecting it in any way (IV, IM or SC) is asking for SERIOUS TROUBLE, like sepsis, pulmonary emboli, all sorts of fun stuff. It's STILL PLANT MATERIAL. Just, boiled down plant material. Dear DOG, don't inject this stuff!
For a last attempt, it might be recommended to dissolve the extract in some warm-to-hot water and then drink that. Then the stomach doesn't have to do a lot of work trying to break the extract down. This may make it more effective, though there's just the chance that one got a bunk batch, or that one has a bunk response to this batch.
There's also the chance that it IS affecting your friend, but he's expecting/hoping for a different experience, OR that because your friend has a Heroin
background, Kratom just isn't going to cut it for him, tolerance or not.
Kratom is not a straight opiate
substitute, and most certainly not a Heroin substitute. One would have a better chance attempting to recreate a Heroin-like experience with codeine
, than they would with Kratom. While Kratom can feel opiate-like, it does not substitute completely; it is it's own experience, with it's own color & flavor. It can be enjoyed for what it is, but it will never be, say, Oxycodone
HTH! (hope this helps!)
