I am aware of the differences between cannabis and hash, but i still feel they are the same drug, like if a person says what drugs have you done I am always agitated when some one says weed, hash .... does anyone else feel that they are the same drug, its like saying ive done ecstacy, mdma, though arguably there is a difference MDMA is pure were as ecstacy has additives (caffeine etc) there still basically the same thing.

you're right, they are the same drug chemically, but they they have somewhat different effect, and one is the drug in the raw, where as one is processed. for example, you don't count raw opium as the same drug as 'purified opium' or heroin, do you?

Hash is specific type of processed marijuana. In fact, swim goes as far as wondering what kind of hash people have tried. Be it bubble hash, honey oil, 'budder' hash, pressed kif hash, kif pressed into honey oil hash, finger hash, extract press, etc.

Yes, and it is interesting to note that they are different in the eyes of the law as well. I had posted a link a while ago(doesnt work now unfortunately)that had a list of Canadian drug laws and penalties. I was suprised to find that here in Canada anyway that processing Hash will get the same sentence as processing heroin or cocaine!!Krazy. Simple possesion is harsher with hash as well.

Same thing to me. I get a little more "stoney" with hash, but that depends on the quality i guess. Hash smells very nice, but weed is nicer to smoke.

Anyway, when you smoke weed you smoke hash aswell. Because the hash is on the weed. So it's pretty stupid that they're different in the eyes of the law. Especially if you have the highest grade skunk on you, wich is stronger than any hash.

I remember a long time ago at school we "learned" about hash. The drug awareness guy said that hash "stays in your body fat, giving you flashbacks later on". While this supposedly wasn't "very common with pot". Same thing, dicks.
