I guess im left to answer my own question once again. I found this link...http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...&dopt=Abstract

This quote is taken right from the last scentence of the paragraph.

"The results indicate that methocarbamol, at doses well above those used therapeutically, has some potential to be abused by persons with histories of sedative/hypnotic abuse; however, this potential for abuse is probably decreased by the accompanying side effects at high doses and is probably less than that of lorazepam."

SWIM is thinkin about trying it out on his guinea pigs tonight.

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (Methocarbamol)

SWIM has been prescribed methocarbamol for chest pain. TBH, it didn't do anything for him. He says it was like taking sugar pills.

He still has some in his medicine cabinet. I suppose he could go take another dose and tell me how it went.

SWIY could try a small dose. SWIM is sure it would come far from harming SWIY.

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (Methocarbamol)

So, wait- you can access DF but not Google?

Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxer, as you mentioned. It has zero recreational value. P.O dosages of 1-1.5g po tid are common. It's good for its intended use.

Why do alot of people on this site gotta be Smart Asses? of course i used google, but google isnt to incline to let you know about recreational drug uses, unless you type in recreational drug use and search for it, which at that point you are directed to this site!

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (Methocarbamol)

might get swiy a good stupor and some drool in his lap. other then that likely not much recreational value.

If it were to be effective IM or IV i speculate that swiy would not remember much if any of the experience and to others swiy would look like a vegatable... not advised.

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (Methocarbamol)

Apologies. Don't blame the site, this is a personality disorder.

It's true that Google won't give lead you directly to instructional sites on how to abuse rx meds, however there are many prescription drug databases out there. Most, if not all, list side effects. That's where you cull your information from.*

*Which is why up with this I will not put. d;

SWIM gets Robaxin perscribed with Percocet. 1 Robaxin, 2 Percocet...back pain is all gone and SWIM is feeling very good.

Re: Robaxin (Methocarbomal)

Dr. Muddy is quite right. When Swim first got his scirpt today for Methocarbamol (robaxin), he thought he was being Rxed Skelaxin (metaxolone) at first. Took a few mins to figure out!

Not without it's charm, that is, it certainly does relax his muscles. Not much in the way of euphoria though, unless used to boost other depressants, presumably.

Re: Robaxin (Methocarbomal)

This compound is available next to Tylenol in pharmacies in Canada.

It is not significantly abused. SWIM is of the opinion that it is not really worthwhile, and only will be abused by those with significant drug-seeking behaviour.

In short, it sucks.

Re: Robaxin (Methocarbomal)

My roommate took a couple and was lying out in the backyard, dreamily watching clouds and enjoying the smell of grass for a few hours. Not as fun as carisoprodol, she says, but nice chill effect. Take them--or any skeletal muscle relaxants--on an empty stomach, though, and it's like a kick in the gut. Definitely eat beforehand.
