paresthesia caused by drugs.

Paresthesia (paraesthesia in British English) is a sensation of tingling, pricking, or numbness of the skin with no apparent physical cause, more generally known as the feeling of pins and needles. SWIM gets it when he takes Cough syrup, Diphenhydramine, or some green herb. SWIM would love some insight on why this is happening. SWIM would love some help.

It used to happen on my head the first times I've smoked pot. The numbness is felt with dissociateves and alcohol.

I only ever get pins and needles if I'm sitting awkwardly and if the blood circulation to a certain part of the body gets cut off e.g. if my girlfriend was sitting on my lap for an hour my leg would go numb. I don't think it has anything to do with drugs.

Hmmm SWIM says it's no problem cause the feeling goes away in a couple of days or even hours.
