Viva La revolution (when we gonna get up and stand up?)

okay,

how to start ... well ... doesn't anyone ever have this inner feeling of just screaming it out to the world - giving the world YOUR message instead of the shit on TV ? ... like telling people what drugs really do? and i being absolutely serious here ! ... i started this years ago with my mom ... she used to look very angry when she smelled that green stuff in my room - after years of gently giving her all the information she needed - i can now tell her - ''hey mom - i made a docu about LSD for school - come and watch it'' ... or - mom - last week i expereinced something fabulous - i WAS the universe ... i put hard effort, positive nergy and just HONESTY in this process ... so now she understands me - she doesn't mind it anymore because i show her that it doesn't hurt me, or my social skills, or my school projects - no - it even enriches my live ... why i tell this??? because THIS is the ONLY way EVER to get the information out! being honest - being calm - having patients for reaching the goals - and offcourse ... being clever what to say or what not ...

but at this point i feel like i hide myself away from the world - i can't talk about it - i deffinately can't preach it - i have to use it away from the world in a room - hoping that when you go to the store the clerk won't suspect you took drugs and think bad things about you ...

i reall want to change the publics view on things - and we can only do this when we come out on the streets - spread descent information (good and bad sides) - show them how many oeple suffer from evil drug laws while all they did was ENJOYING GODS PLANET ... i mean - goddamnit - there are kids growing up without their father or mother because they are in jail for POT - i mean POT - who the fuck do these politicians think they are??? the good guys? damn they are not!! ... i'm really really getting tired of living in a world made of fear lies and where noone puts up a fight against those FUCKERS !! ... .sorry for my language - but i MEAN it ...

i want a world drug day - that day will be a day were people come out on the streets - not to yell or scream or be a victim - but to quitly give onformation - make music - have colorfull parades and stuff ... blend it all together - creating an open mind - from us towards them. I don't wanna hide my honest feelings of searching my soul for truth - while those shitheads can openly talk about war and pain and distruction without anyone lifting a single finger ...

it's time to flipside stuff!

i mean it!

hide all your dope on a safe place - express what you believe in - HONESTLY ... .

i'm tired of being a bad guy in a bad world - and i want everyone to know about this !!!

who's with me??!!!

(no - maybe we can talk about future of things - how to get the message out - because if WE do't do it - NOONE wil -- i hope us lazy asses on dope realise this!!!!)

the time is NOW!

so world drug day - music - festivities - onformation ... all that jazzz -- yeah - just kick 'm in the balls ... fuck you rightwinged fascists!!

hèhè ... temper temper boy ... .

edit: i mean - it's a very smart system - mkae everything illigal so people get scared to talk opnely about it - so noone will get information - than give those people fucked up information so they believ the accect same thing as the governement does ... we should have a political voice - somone that always talks about drugs wothout doing it himselve - like in ireland - that shinfeain dude - he speaks for the rights of IRA - and those people even murder people! ... we ony have good fun!!!

really, it's enough - i don't want to wait for it - and i deffinately don't wanna grow old in a society like this! ...CHANGE is on it's way!

I hear you, man!

I, too, am fed up with the stigma that comes with drug use.

It's time to dismantle feed trough of propaganda that perpetuates public ignorance.

This forum is a good start, but keep in mind that it will not happen overnight.

Be firm and be patient, but above all be safe and use responsibly.

I also stress the responsibility part. First and foremost before we all go hitting the streats, blowing peoples minds with the truth they were sheltered from, we must improve our culture as well. That means that each and every one of us drug users needs to have a responsibility. We need to feed America the way they are used to being fed.

We need to first do all we can to cut down drastically on automobile acidents involving drugs, cut back on the OD rate, cut back on addiction rates, basically cut back on anything that makes the public shake a finger at drug users.

Which means that we need to all be very safe and private with our use as most people dislike seeing somebody on drugs around town, and we must also help others out around us. Whenever we are at a party and we see or hear about a person going to try an "amazing feat", we need to stop them in a nice way and teach them all you know to get them educated and away from getting injured. Or when we see a person close to us starting to get addicted to a substance, we need to help them to our full extent.

Then once politicians have no numbers to hide behind, the public will start to slowly open their eyes. This is when we should start hitting the streets. My thoughts are to go one step at a time, starting with marijuana, we are so close to our goal. I personally think that all these commercials from above the influence and freevibe are a very biased, and usually untrue source of info. Ive always wanted NORML or something reputable to have a fund raser to run a commercial of their own, dispelling myths with the source on the commercial. Nothing like "pot isnt bad at all, go smoke some". Something that doesnt directly encourage people to go out and buy a sack, just dispelling this bullshit. Just my opinions.

I think korky8097 has the right idea here. Yes, it would be great if we were all allowed to use whatever substances we wanted, and I am all for something like that; however, this is absolutely impossible unless the majority of people start being more responsible with their use. Frankly, there are kids who by all rights shouldn't have access to certain drugs, simply because they are more interested in getting "fucked up" than using them in intelligent moderation. These are the type of people the media and politicians capitalize on, because these are the ones giving "drugs" and bad reputation in the first place. If you want to see any hope of legalizing these substances, start using them responsibly, and start teaching others how to use them responsibly. The current state of affairs is that the vast majority of people are only exposed to the negative side of these substances. If you want to change things, start by showing them the other aspects.

What we need are commercials showing how evil the government and how much medical value some drugs have.

i fully agree with the sentiments on this thread but i am extremely sceptical that any substantial changes will occur in our lifetimes. western democracies seem to me, for the most part to rely on the public accepting what they are told by the the media or the government without question

. Both these mediums know that regular drug users are far more likely to question the status quo than (almost) any other group. therefore it is in their best interests to keep us a silent (except for the bad news stories) and criminalised minority. ***

If the politicians issue with drugs was really about additction and crime (as they claim it is) then all drugs would be legal by now. it doesn't take a genius to work out that if you control supply then you also control demand. and there is growing evidence that shows even those with addiction to "hard" drugs can hold down jobs and live 'normal' (crime-free) lives when given the drugs on prescription or for an affordable price (a scheme in inner-city liverpool (UK) is one that sticks in my mind).

With all this in mind and the fact that political and media attitudes towards drug use seem to be getting less sypethetic i would say we have very little hope of seeing a more liberal approach to drug use in the forseeable future.

***I have a feeling that this is not all though, there must be more reasons why our governments dont want us to have the right to experiment with drugs either myminds gone blank or i just dont know anymore.
