Cocaine Will Never Leave Me : Cravings after 4 months abstinence

I haven't used cocaine for nearly 4 months. I was eating a salad at Wendy's recently (a salad for Christ's sake) and, for some reason, the smell took me back to cocaine. I smiled, but then I frowned. It seems, at least once a week, if not more, I'll have one of these flashback episodes. I was using flour to cook a while ago, and spilled some. Cleaning up the white powder on the table made me think of..yep...cocaine. Am I cursed to feel this way forever? I can still "smell" it in my nostrils sometimes. What's going on here!!!!!

By the way, I don't even WANT the stuff, it scares the hell outta me. Who needs a heart attack, heart failure, or a stroke? Those problems were enough to get me to stop in the first place!

well swim liked cocaine (washed up) but swim said he was constantly biting, and (even more) paranoid, swim has had enough and only snorts it at pub or other social occasions, never had too much trouble, good luck anyway.

Also very rarley in my area is there coke that's the worth money. (not bad deals but can't discuss prices, really is for the rich to have a regular habit. Although a good night out on special occasions, try and leave it at that, sounds like it's what you (at least partly) want.

Hopefully it won't be a white xmas for you (if it's your will) or me

Oh it will definatly get easier the longer you go without it, but (sorry) a mate i know (talking bout coke now not crack) can deal with it easily, after relapsing a few times, and begging a swimmer for whites, he's now, well off coke, but it's not the happiest fable so i won't go into it, he off coke though, but he doesn't do it on special occasions because he knows what would happen (that's him though), anyway i'm ramblin, enjoy the bright lights and shit, don't need it too enjoy xmas.

It'll pass guys. Just not anytime soon. I haven't had blow in 6 months. When I'm watching porn, sometimes I'll notice that a girl's pupils are dialated. Hahahaha...then I get a little turned on because I'm thinking she probably did a few lines so she'd enjoy the scene more.

I think about it when I'm at work and falling asleep at my desk or when I'm in a flat out bad mood. BUT...there's hope. I didn't think about it not one time during my week off work during Christmas. Being with my family, my friends, and keeping myself occupied is the best ways to stay away.

i was doing blow every day .. all day... my jun yr of H.S.
then.eventually. when i had a mini brkdwn (after 1 whole school year)... i stopped.. yay!
i was better off, but literally, for a yr.. i'd get these randomly occurring 'pangs'; like the most acute and instant devastation, like the worst physical and emotional punch in the gut. i wanted to go 2 sleep and never wake up.
weird and terrible,
but, the horrible sensations go away.. they do, and i got thru it alone, never told a soul.. just be strong,. and corny as this sounds..
dr. phil, that tv shrink once said, that we can't just 'kick' a bad habit ... we have 2 replace 1 habit w/ another.. and u know.. he's totally right.. so replace the drug with something productive,, like reading or taking personal or relaxing time..
