recently had an injury using a table saw, which caused them to lose their left middle fingernail and a good chunk of flesh surrounding it (it didnt't hit bone so, fortunately, they still have their whole finger). SWIM went to the ER on saturday night and learned the tip of that finger was also fractured. SWIM was prescribed 18 Oxycodone
(5mg-325). SWIM gets drug
tested once a week and is only allowed to take narcotic medication if it is prescribed and absolutely necessary, which it was. A few weeks ago, SWIM was given about 60 Hydrocodone
pills by a friend and was saving for when they no longer have to get drug tested. Now that SWIM has an excuse for testing positive for Oxycodone, is it safe for SWIM to take some of those Hydrocodone too, or will the drug test be able to tell that they took something other than the Oxycodone they were prescribed? The test is usually a dipstick test but there is a chance the sample will be sent to the lab. Thanks for any advice.
