Storing - ketamine shelf life extension

SWIM has 1/2 full bottle of K that is going to expire soon. He thinks maybe he should evaporate it down to powder so it will keep its potency longer. is this a good idea?

it is always a good idea to make it sniffable. I really don't think it will lose its power. But it is wise to keep it airtight after you've made it sniffable

In powder form, put in a good packaging it lasted for half an year now and hasn't decomposed yet.

if its in powder in a airtight bag does it lose any power ? what happens if the bag has been left open ?

no, it does not degrade if it is in air-tight bag, but its better to be kept in dark and cool place like most drugs/chemicals, as this would avoid any possible reaction/degradation.

SWIM thinks it doesn't hurt k to leave it open for some days, maybe some few weeks, but the longer it is left open the less potent it gets. Althought SWIM never heard it happens but it doesn't hurt to keep it air-tight.
