Balloon hands on marijuana

has anyone ever experienced this feeling? first time i smoked weed i got really high and couldnt do anything but sit and gap out for hours, i had my hand together with my fingers weived and when i pulled them apart they felt like they were letax balloon gloves, im talking 100% balloon hands. strangest feeling to this day i think i was chemically sensative to the THC as the 1st few times i would hallucinate and was blazed beyond words, dont get that high off weed anymore unfortunately

The song 'comfortably numb' by Pink Floyd is about heroin, but the feeling is compared to an experience one of the members had after taking a pill from a doctor. They relate the feeling of 'my hands were like two balloons.'

Shit man, it's not like I've never heard "Comfotably Numb", it's just that I think the song is based on interpretation and not actually addiction.

Yup. But that was a long time ago. Ever seen 'The Wall' movie by Pink Floyd?

comfortably numb is about the charecter "pink" who had completely lost it with the music business and was given drugs by the docs so he would go on stage to perform. At least thats what was shown in the movie "the wall". I dont think any of the members did smack, i mean they kicked syd out for doin too much acid.

I could be mistaken about Comfortably Numb being about heroin. I guess I believe that based on that someone once told me. It's the scene in The Wall where pink is running in a field away from the goal post which looks like a big 'H' on the horizon. The H is suppose to represent heroin.
And there's the other scene where pink is overdosing in his hotel room. His manager and some medics break in, Pink is quite unresponsive and the medics start injecting him with stuff. They never actually showed Pink shooting up, but if that doesn't look like a classic heroin over-dose I guess I don't know what does.
And the term 'comfortably numb' kinda sums up opiates in SWIM's opinion.
But then again I could be making false assumptions.

Weird. I just watched that movie tonite and i was wondering what the hell he was on. I doubt they did smack. but who knows its just a movie/song.

Balloon hands can be experienced on many drugs, including weed especially for new users. As for Pink, he wasnt on smack, just by that point in the movie he was exhausted both mentally and physically from life, touring, hash, probably not eating, just spirialling into maddness in that hotel room. The doctors shot was probably just some kind of upper so he could go onstage.
