States become a litte more paranoid
So... this is news to swim as of a few days ago, and quite frankly swims disgusted... a particular law was passed in swims state that is making pseudoephedrine EVEN harder to aquire....
The fight against the spread of meth labs will get a further boost in January. A new state law will force retailers to restrict the sale of cold medicines such as Sudafed which have ingredients used by methamphetamine makers.
It requires anyone who buys cold tablets containing any pseudoephedrine and ephedrine to show a photo ID at the counter and sign a log. Most liquid, gel-capsule and children's forms of the medicines will remain available on retail store aisles. Some state lawmakers this year argued for those products to remain more accessible because they weren't yet a problem in meth manufacture.
Is this becomming a country perhaps even world wide problem?
Bye bye privacy, hello DEA...
