ecstasy overdose

yesterday was the first time i had taken ecstasy. i thought the friend i was with was trustworty so i trusted him to watch me but we ended up taking about 4 pills. i dont normally take drugs so i had a terrible trip and couldnt get to sleep until 24 hours later. I feel anxious, nervous, paranoid and horribly sad and its two days later. what should i do? will i ever become normal again?

Why did you take 4 pills instead of one to test it. If your friend has a good tolerance to Xtc this doesn't mean yo have. You'll just have to wait a week or two until the levels of serotonin normalize completely. Wish you luck!

That's normal, Now you know why people don't usually take very many pills at once!

lol doesn't sound anything close to an overdose to me, sounds like a regular comedown from x. hehe. anything in moderation dogggg! it depletes your seratonin...the stuff that makes you happy. thats why it works...it usually comes out a slow trickle, and the x made it come out like a faucet open wide... hehe. it takes a while to build your reserves of seratonin back up, your body produces it very slowly. usually i notice i am depressed a week or so....dont really notice at the time tho, later i'm like, oh i was just depressed from doing that.

You'll be alright before you know it. Try to eat even though your appetite might be depleted. Chocolate and bananas are meant to be good for restoring your usual serotonin levels. Pot helps too.

Vitamins, 5-htp, excercise, the knowledge that you'll be alright in 3 days, and 8 hours sleep a night.

Dont let it put you off. Just have one next time. And make sure you're doing something in your life that you love so *fucking* much, a bad trip is impossible.
