What other drugs will affect Skelaxin?
• Many drugs can increase the effects of Skelaxin, which can lead to heavy sedation. Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
· antihistamines such as brompheniramine (Dimetane, Bromfed, others), chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton, Teldrin, others), azatadine (Optimine), clemastine (Tavist), and many others;
· narcotics (pain killers) such as meperidine (Demerol), morphine (MS Contin, MSIR, others), propoxyphene (Darvon, Darvocet), hydrocodone (Lorcet, Vicodin), oxycodone (Percocet, Percodan), fentanyl (Duragesic), and codeine (Fiorinal, Fioricet, Tylenol #3, others);
· sedatives such as phenobarbital (Solfoton, Luminal), amobarbital (Amytal), and secobarbital (Seconal);
· phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine (Thorazine), fluphenazine (Prolixin), mesoridazine (Serentil), perphenazine (Trilafon), prochlorperazine (Compazine), thioridazine (Mellaril), and trifluoperazine (Stelazine); or
· antidepressants such as doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), phenelzine (Nardil), and tranylcypromine (Parnate).
• Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with Skelaxin. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist before taking any prescription or over-the-counter medicines.


what would be a nice starter dose of this for swim, he also has darvocet on had to increase the effcts

SWIM found an aspirin bottle full of pale pink tablets, each containing 400 milligrams of metaxalone once. He took two or three every now and then for a week and noticed nothing.

The side effect of this is to make you sleepy - taking too much is not going to get you high, it's going to make you groggy and you'd be better off using booze to get high than that. IMHO

Yeah SWIM took 1600mg and barely felt a thing. But i eard others that get really high on it ie SWIM's cousin took 1200mg and after thirty minutes he was slurring his speach alot and could barely move with out me helping him. Thats why i would stay away from it, and also its harsh on the liver

I found a few doses of prochlorpeazine at home that are spare. Ive googled it but I'm not too sure if its gunna be any good for recreation anyone have experience. its IM by the way.

Prochlorperazine is an antipsychotic: It is NOT a Downer/Sleeper, nor does it have any recreational value
