What kind of movies do you like to watch when high? Has anyone here seen "Fear and lothing in Las Vegas" or "requiem for a dream"? Those are both great movies when high. Especially requiem for a dream. When SWIM and freinds poped it in they didn't think it was working b/c there was an info-mercial on the tv. they were trying to figure it out for like 10 min then SWIM's buddy realized that at the bottom of the screen there was a play button. It was crazy!

SWIM's would have to be the much underappreciated and funniest sketch show ever MR SHOW WITH BOB AND DAVID>


once on acid SWIM and a few friends watched like the entire first two seasons and the next day he couldnt open his mouth he was laughing so hard. for like a week after that he'd burst into laughter spontaneously thinking about different scenes. its all on DVD now check it out!

Swim likes watching cartoons, like Family Guy, The Simpsons or South Park. Not a whole lot of thinking to do, and the animation looks pretty cool while you're ripped

Natural born killers is great to watch while tripping, if you can handle it, you really get into mickey and mallory.

ps NEVER watch the ring while tripping. Some of my mates saw it at the cineama. they all said they had a horrendous trip

Cool Phungushead's Favorite Trip Movies
SWIM usually considers watching movies a waste of a perfectly good trip. However, when I choose to watch them, I like anything that is either funny, high in visual effects, or really makes you think... some good ones are:

*Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - classic trip movie... they do craploads of drugs in this movie.
*Pi - a little intense, but really makes you think. Has a good soundtrack and effects. If you've never seen it before, wait until you're tripping to watch it the first time.
*Natural Born Killers - if you can get past all the violence, the visual effects are great. I love the parts where they mix the live action with animation. The first time SWIM saw this movie, he was tripping and was getting so frusterated because he didn't understand what was going on. Plus, Oliver Stone kicks ass.
*Groove - any fan of techno would love this one... its about a rave.
*Human Traffic - another techno/rave one. Easy plot to follow while tripping. Most people I show it to love it.
*Rules of Attraction - Special effects are interesting, good storyline for tripping. Kind of a morbid movie.

...and Any Stupid Little Kid Show on TV, such as Sesame Street or Bob the Builder or other stuff like that. It is funnier than hell. SWIM laughs almost non-stop when he watchs shows like this.

The best thing to watch while trippin is the clouds in the sky at night and the forest.

SWIM watched Adaptation and it was greati really got into it and you can feel every emotion, pretty funny and has quite a bizarre end although the whole movie is kinda weird. That movie kinda got to me, really made me think. If you liked Being John Malkovich you should enjoy it. In fact if you like great movies you'll enjoy it.I suggest you watch it.

Dont watch the 6th sense - not a good film to watch while trippin! Yeah Id generally agree kids tv is the best stuff,Bob the builder, Thomas the tank engine (particularly the older version - the way their eyes move!!)is the funniest shit to watch while tripping with ur mates!

Strobe lights, black lights are the best to look at they're so trippy. Especially if you set the strobe really slow like 1 flash a second or slower people moving around look like they jump from place to place.

The best tv shows have to be Family Guy or Futurama.
