question about emotional connections on E

To set the background:SWIM hasa gf whoSWIM hasbeen going out with for over6 1/2 years. ObviouslySWIMloves her very much, she understands himlike no one else andhim and his gfaren't exactly lacking in other areas either. The only possible down side is that she doesn't know aboutSWIM's drug taking (apart from weed), but that is more than made up for by the great connectionhimand his gfhave in every other area and the great timesthey have.


The other nightSWIM went out with a bunch ofmates, one of whom was a very attractivegirlSWIM hasbeen goodfriends with forjust over 2 years.SWIM took a pill that night which wasn't particularly strong, but it gaveSWIM a nicewarm "loved up" feeling, whichhe haven't had for a while, and madeSWIM want to go around hugging everyone, especially this girl.They connected pretty well that night, talked a lot about past events etc. and danced to some tunesthey both loved.SWIM felt really good whenhe was hugging her etc. (they didn't kiss or anything)and it gavehim an awesome warmfeeling inside. NowSWIM keeps on thinking about her and it's doinghis head in. Has anyone had similar experiences (suddenly realising you fancy someone after an E experience or developing new emotional connections with people)? Is it just the drugsscrewing with SWIM?


I'm guessing the answer to the last question is yes andhe should justbe morecareful in the future, but I thought I'd use this experience to highlight an interesting longer lastingaspect of the drug.Edited by: ramjet

well - it's not the drugs f*cking with him ... it's his mind. So change that - choose what you want. Swim has got similar experiences. He sees it as just images of love in our head. you can choose whom to love in what way. So if he thinks this girl suits him more - maybe yes - if his old girlfriend is better - than he shouldn't follow his ''dick'' ... cause most of the times that's what is happening. dunno in this case but ... be honest. some girls you just want for male sexual energy - well, if you wanna follow that - give up the rest ... just be honest and you'll find the right answer - i think that's what i wanna say ... but i'm probably wrong hèhè ... love affairs are strange ...
