OK, while this question may have been asked before,
SWIM cannot find a serious answer that addresses all her questions. Here goes...
SWIM took some
San Pedro in capsule form and ALMOST had a wonderful trip...except for the nausea, fatigue and stomach pain that arose from the cactus material crawling through her digestive tract. And it wasn't just the first few hours, but the whole 10+ hour experience. She laid on the floor in agony the entire time.
SWIM has heard of people taking
peyote enemas, but not so much with San Pedro. Obviously, it would take much more material with SP and would not be wise to shoot an enema's worth of tea into the rectum. Is there any other way (short of a
mescaline extraction) that this could be done? Could the mixture be boiled down into a concentrated syrup, sucked up into a bulb syringe and administered that way? (SWIM has done enemas/suppositories before with few problems and could likely hold it in for as long as needed much easier than taking it by mouth.)
Any answers (serious only, plz) would be appreciated. This isn't a "will it or won't it work" question, but a "how can SWIM do this logistically" question. SWIM thinks she could potentially love mescaline, but not as it stands now. Thanks!
