I know that it has been discussed here before, bt my search didn't turn
up the specific information I was seeking, so I'm sorry if this question is inappropriate. I am aware that as it ages, 4-HO-DIPT turns darker, but I do not know if this means a corresponding lack of potency. If so, could anyone venture to guess how much potency is lost? The powder has been in a freezer, sealed pretty tight for about 5-6 months. |

I have some 4-HO-DiPT that's nearly 3 years old. Well, Elbow, I don't store my RCs in the freezer. I leave them in their baggie (mostly), or I move them to a glass tube. I still have a little bit of 4-HO-DiPT leftover from about 33 months ago (when I first ordered some from US vendors). It is still white. It is still potent; it may have lost 10% (or so) of its "kick", but that's pretty good. I plan to take one dose of my old RC on its 3rd anniversary, and one dose on its 4th anniversary. If you've read about this in other Threads, then you would know that a freezer effectively stops degradation of most RCs. So asking if 6 months will noticably weaken it, has been answered: It won't. |

Most will keep at room temperature in a dark place for a long time. PEAs
and amphetamines seem to keep forever. Tryptamines degrade, and tend to darken as they break down. Note that some may not tolerate freezing well, and you should use a drying agent around your containers to prevent contamination from humidity. Snapper |

Ah, thanks guys. The thread I looked at was about 4-ho-mipt and I
wasn't certain that the information would apply to a diferent compound. The fact that it changes color so dramatically made it hard for me to believe that it wasn't quickly degrading or something. Cheers. |
