Drug info - Why is cocaine cheaper in South America?

why is coke so much cheaper in SA countries? or so i hear. i remember
seeing a post on here about it being about 15 US dollars in Costa Rica
(i think) for a g of yay. any insight on why this is?

because south american countries MAKE and GROW the product. think about it like this.. you have yourold navystore which is the US, then you have the outlet navy store which is almost all of south america. Pretty damn simple once you look it over. excuse the wacky methaphor but the genius in me started ticking. BUNGLE.

ok, but u have to consider the fact that the majority of it is from
colombia. shipping is costly. thats understandable. but u also have to
remember that its costly to ship to OTHER SA countries too...colombia
to costa rica, colombia to peru, colombia to new york, i would think
that the difference wouldnt be TOO big

well, new york is alot further than costa rica, and new york is the usa which in no doubt alot harder to smuggle shit into i would guess.and alot further.. as compared to rough third wolrld countires withcrappy resources to figth an overload and oversupply of drugs

to get coke to the US you need to drive across a lot of borders, bring
it by boat which is risky because the US goverment watches boats
leaving columbia, or take it on an airplane (the most difficult and
least profitable way). transporting it between south american countries
is not difficult. also the cocaine you get in america goes through a
lot of middle men, and each one jacks up the price to make a profit.

First... it's not just produced in columbia ... infact, higher quality coke is produced in many S.A. countries.

The main reason is because it's easy to take into and out of places like Peru ... but it's much harder, and therefore more expensive, to get into the states and parts of europe. Hence, the higher prices in the states and europe.
