Opinions - LSD’s power Vs Salvia

I have a question....Is there a chance that LSD could be more powerful than salvia? I have read where salvinorin-A is the most powerful NATURAL Hallucinogen but since LSD is not all natural, can it be more powerful. I've never done LSDbefore but I'm thinking about it.See Ilove salvia and only wish the experiences would last longer so that I could explore it but if something could surpass that it would put me at a new plateau.

personally i havent felt all that much from salvia. i think i probably
hit it wrong or something or didnt have a powerful enough extract but
you can be sure lsd is a strong psychedelic. i would say lsd is much
more powerful as far as dosage goes, i havent really experienced a full
salvia trip to compare but i know lsd is damn powerful and is
considered the standard of psychedelics to which others are compared.
from what i have heard others that rival it for the title of most
powerful psychedelic are dmt and bromo dragonfly, but i have tried
neither.

If by 'more powerful', you mean 'active at a lower dose', then yes, LSD is more powerful than salvinorin-A. LSD is the reason the qualifier 'natural' is inserted into that claim about salvinorin-A's potency. As for subjective strength, there's no criterion by which it would be possible to directly compare any two experiences. Edited by: Hyperreal

A friend of mine has tried both, suprisinly he couldn't handle Salvia and said it was 'too strong'.

I haven't tried LSD but I've done other psychedelics, and Salvia is very different from each one I've tried. If you, (or swiy) has tried other psychedelics you'll know what I mean. It doesn't just give you visuals, or make you think strange, it can take you to a whole new place from a normal dose. From what I've read about LSD and trip reports, I'd have to say Salvia is stronger at normal doses.

One thing about LSD: "It lasts a long time." This is a plus (or a minus, to some people).


But in your case, you would just like some long-lasting Salvia. Millions of other people also wish they could find that too. Unfortunately, LSD is a different trip. But, who knows, you might like it, a lot.

Keep in mind that salvia and LSD have extremely different effects. Its not really fair to compare drugs with such drastically different effects. I would say that on average salvia is more intense though.

They're nothing alike from what I have experienced. It's not even known how salvia effects the mind and there really is no comparison to LSD. Personally, I prefer LSD a lot more. Salvia is more intense over a shorter period of time, but I would consider the LSD experience to be more intense overall in that it needs more time and you will go through several long periods of incredible mental change.

You could compare it to the difference between a 100m sprint and a marathon.

salvia is really strong, weird and just doesn't teach much. It is nothing like LSD at all! They can't be compaied!


Maybe to Datura seeds, thats a very long and weird high. Salvia is short and all of a sudden, like.

In SWIM's opinion, although salvia is often more intense, LSD is a
"deeper" experience and he is much more profoundly affected by it.

This guy did LSD for the first time last week and he said it was like
doing a high extract of salvia that lasted for about 8hrs. He had a
crazy intesne experience with 13x salvia that ended with him crawling
out of a mirror and having ripped off the toilet seat. And with the
acid, he took two hits cause he thought they were going to go bad, and
the biggest thing was paranoia. Then there was the illusions, and
surround sound on the TV is rediculous. Then he couldnt sleep for 6 hrs
after he was completely done.

the feeling of acid is weird. i feel like i've experienced it before, like sometime before i ever did drugs. it enhances all emotions. the feeling of salvia gets its intensity more from disorientation. if that makes any sense.

LSD doesnt really compare to salvia. SWIM guesses you could say that a good rip of salvia will be more intense for a very short amount of time than a few blotters. The trip is completely different. IN SWIMs opinion salvia isnt as fun as acid. Salvia is just a mindfuck that leaves SWIM wondering what the hell happened to him. LSD is much longer lasting and much more euphoric. Salvia prodeces absolutely no euphoria for swim.

also if you want a longer salvia experience, you could try the quid method. many people have got completely off their ass for long periods of time doing this. of course that makes it that much more dangerous. with lsd you will be generally conscious of your surroundings.

This can be debated to death, but I would say DMT is more colorful/visual than Salvia, however if you are measuring this on a gram for gram basis then salvinorin-A would be much more potent.

Well LSD is more potent than Salvia in the sense that it is active at lower dosses.

LSD is much more powerful than Salvia in the sense that it can have a more profound effect on your mind and emotions, and is more usefull.

For SWIM LSD does what psychedelics are supposed to do best. With 2-CE as a close runner up.

I have to agree with dogears. but i guess salvia can be powerfull in huge doses but not as powerfull as the king.
