Golly, only one other person mentioned drum'n'bass. If you're into speedier things, go with Dieselboy mixes. Sure, the UK does all the best production, but no one can top Dieselboy for putting together an awesome dnb set. (My reccomendation: 6ixth session. People who like System Upgrade can go soak their heads.) For deeper stuff, Teebee rocks. Also Stakka+Skynet. Check out "Deeper Side of Drum and Bass" mix by Teebee. For harder, nastier things for when you're angry, I say Panacea, or some of the new breakcore/raggacore stuff from Bong Ra and his cohorts. If you're in the mood for something lighter, LTJ Bukem and Blame have some nice atmospheric Drum N Bass. Also, everyone loves oldschool jungle, although I don't really know what to reccomend. Maybe a Mickey Finn mix.

For non dnb stuff, Plaid's Not For Threes will destroy your soul and give you a better one to replace it. Everyone likes autechre, but I like plaid better, so eat it. Of course aphex. Try also "telefon tel aviv". Sasha does the trance good. I'm not digging the megatrance sound these days, but Tiesto and Ferry Corsten seem pretty good at it. For psytrance, I like Infected Mushroom (their best stuff is actually when they stop doing psytrance and do "something else" on the 2nd CD of Converting Vegetarians. Also for really groovy scrachy buzzy psytrance check out Dark Soho - Combustion.

Oh, right, forgot to mention that all I know about is electronic musics. Now I'm getting bored with rambling, so go try some of those, and if you don't like them, then uh... oh well.

my main love is electronic music, techno (the detroit stuff not the 'hard' stuff), house (mostly chicago stuff, not stuff labelled as 'funky'), bit of breaks, occasionally listen to drum n bass, like some of the weirder stuff like aphex twin, massive attack etc.

also really into bob dylan (the mans a genius), hendrix, some soul, funk, a bit of old skool hip hop (dont really care for the newer stuff ive heard though), pink floyd, jefferson airplane (glad to see theres a few other fans here), bit of jazz now and then, bob marley. am pretty open when it comes to music, but i know what i dont like and i really cant be doing with listening to them at all.

Isn't this already a thread? oh well all music is good in its own respect. and it really depends on the mood or drug. I am really getting into ska mustard plug, reel big fish, as well as electronica, "you've come along way baby" by fatboy is outta this world.
Just a point I would like to make about people who criticize white people who listen to rap, hip hop, r&b etc saying that their not black etc well what about listening to funk or blues or jazz, rock n' roll was originaly started by african americans so saying that its wrong to listen to rap etc is wrong because its not your culture is narrow minded, and usic is a universal language.

No it's not wrong when white people listen to rap or hip-hop. I just think it's stupid when white people try to act black, which to me is fake as fuck!!

Sphongle gange girl and devient species are good not to forget juno reactor, and Fat boy slim has anyone heard his new album palookaville its good but nto great, You've come a long way, baby is one of my fav albums ever. Also about the acting black thing I don't think its fair that one culture should be able to call a style there own and also like what about bikers wearing head bands and dude rags in the 60's so afro america culture didn't like invent that. has anyone hard the grey album by dj danger mouse he mixes the Beatles white album with Jay-z's black album its nuts.
