Can anyone give me a good recipe for weed brownies? Quanities, methods,
quality of weed, tips, etc. would be great.

Ive always wondered if keeping the heat a little lower than normal is a good idea, i cant remember the vaporizing heat of THC but do you think if you went to it or over you would possibly be vaporizing the THC in the butter thats in the brownies?

Ive also heard that THC is heat sensitive and too much heat can destroy it, but i dont see how this is possible since it is smoked/cooked/vaporized.

Oh and to newfoundblazer-If your only wanting to do this to get stoned and its just for yourself (or the other people dont mind). You could always just drink some of the melted cannabutter on an empty stomach, should get u more stoned and faster, plus you dont gotta make the brownies. OR what alot of people i know do is just make the butter and put it on toast if drinking the butter is too gross for you. I Always used to add a little bit of vegetable or olive oil when making butter to prevent burning the butter.Edited by: bcStoner420

I guess so, it works when the THC is in the plant...

A Good Recipe? A box of Brownie mix ... and add Pot.


First, follow Pinkavvy's suggestion: "Make some good ganja butter, and then make the brownies your normal way using ganja butter instead of regular butter."


Second, how much ganja should you soak into how much butter? This can be according to taste. Question: How much Pot does it take to get you High? If you can toke for quite a while, you will want to put more Pot into your ganja butter. If you like a lotta Pot, put at least half-an-ounce into your Brownie recipe.


Third, there are other Threads which go into detail about how to make ganja butter (or CannaButter). My favorite is to use water and butter ... then throw away the water, and toss in the butter.


However you prepare your Brownies, they will be just fine. You can even throw the Pot directly into the batter. The reason to make ganja butter is to make the Brownies taste just like Brownies ... with Pot in the batter, it tastes a little more like Pot (maybe a Fun thing for you). Experiment. You can have a lot of kicks.

Wont work nearly as well just thrown in the batter, it wont be absorbed into the fat of the butter to the same extent.
