Experiences - *Strong* Salvia divinorum Experiences

Salvia has a lot of skeptics around, so SWIM wanted to write on a
skeptic's point of view as well as a psychonaut's. When SWIM first
tried salvia, it was suppose to help with quitting tobacco, also get
high (which is what SWIM truly wanted it for anyway.) , now SWIM
believes that it truly had a spiritual presence and was an accidental
awakening. Here is what happened.



Swim's first and last *true* salvia experience



At first, it seemed like a simple thing. Find a legal sub for mj. I
thought that the consequences for mj were too harsh, being SCH 1 and
all. Anyways, as I quickly learned...there was a lot more to smoking
salvia. Erowid educated me on this for a very long time with
experiences, most of them talking about the Indian spirit.



All I wanted was the leaves and extract to take to the moon with me.
After being educated, I opted for a gram of 15x. I wanted to take it as
far as I could without missing out on anything. This came with a
"sample" of the leaves, which I tried out first. They seemed to be
harsh and left a "different" taste in my mouth that felt at home oddly
enough.



After one night of everyone falling asleep, I went outside and sat in a
chair. Despite the bitter cold, I had a torch lighter (Salvorin A must
get very hot to vaporize) and about 1/10 of a gram of 15x in a small
pipe.



"Seems like nothing" I said, but before I knew it I slipped into
another world. Although hard to fully remember, I Felt like I was
living another life as another person in another place, and in another
time. After coming back scared as hell, I knew that it took complete
control over my body and mind.



After this experience, I have yet to enter into that dimension again.
Still, Salvia leaves are a great short alternative to feel euphoric for
a minute or so.
