Hallucinations on X

whenever SWIM has a night of beaning, towards the end of it he always starts hallucinating, not majorly, just seeing things in different places than that they actually are, and soem things being quite out of proportion.


is this a common occurance?

Yup. Although more common perhaps with mda, a high enough dose of mdma will give some trippy effects!It's not called a psychedelic stimulant for nowt y'know! Add in that most underestimated and oft forgot head change they call sleep deprivation, and maybe a bit of skunk for good measure, and all manner of weirdness is possible...Edited by: Micklemouse

Although MDMA can cause nystagmus (eye wiggles), most individuals experience few prominent open or closed eye visuals. A small percentage of users report significant visual distortions.

There is also always the possibility that your pills have MDA or DXM in them, especially if you didn't take a lot, or smoke any weed.

I had some very good visuals on X but it depends on the pill, cause with one you dont see shit, but eith the other one you can see things you won't see with shrooms.....

I have had a couple of hallucinations but only small ones, i was looking at the ceiling and we have funny patterns on it, and a bug came out of is crawled and dissapeared it was bright orange too, quite perculia, but i handent slept in like 2 days this was the day after (still dropping) so what do you expect.

This with the bug has happened to me, too. Otherwise I consider the hallucinations of X just the same as with psychedelics but cover the other objects. They're not different objects, but are them.

There's sth else, which could be considered by some as a hallucination. My girlfriend said that her vision is really blurred and she was unable to focus. And I felt my normally poor vision really cleared. Everything was so clear, so pure. That was just the way I was seeing the things around me, very clear, a lot clearer than normal. But when I looked at the face of a person at a distance of around 50 meters from me, I couldn't se anything. It was just a blob on his face. Nothing! My vision was really clear, but deffinately not better.

Indeed,during the proces of biotransformation (I call it that way) in your body,a part of the MDMA converts into MDA and some other metabolites.About 7% to 8% of the taken MDMA will become MDA.

Just wanted to chime in on the subject... Swim reported to me that halucinations are very common for him, especially at higher doses, and ESPECIALLY with mary j. The increased sensitivity to suggestion can make for some wild fantasy world scenarios- usually they are geometric in nature, or auras... but occasionally major things can happen like people changing into other people or whole scenes materializing out of nowhere. Fun stuff!

Thats a good thing too, I would think that the mix would give an increased chance of serotonine syndrome, seeing as E releases serotonin into your brain and DXM inhibits the reuptake of serotonin.

This is due to pupil dialtion. When you take MDMA one of the side affects is having really big pupils, (pie eyes) your pupils do not react to the light, and so too much light is being let in to your eyes causing you not to be able to focus, this is not a hullucination, but is a common side affect. As for you seeing clearley i have no idea. Edited by: eski

Technically speaking, a hallucination infers the inability to distinguish what you are seeing as being real. In other words - you would truly believe that patterns and shadows moving on the walls and ceiling are there in fact. So likely you are viewing Open-Eye Visuals(OEV's) and Closed-Eye Visuals(CEV's). These come in many different types depending on the nature of the substance, or your current phyical condition(tired, sick with the flu, just fine, thanks, etc.).


An example of a true hallucinogen is plants from the Datura family such as Jimson Weed. These are extremely dangerous and best avoided unless you REALLY know what you are doing, andyou areunder very careful supervision. Such as an actual Native Shaman as part of a healing ritual. The Mohawk people useWycossan - which is a variety of Jimson Weed - to erase the memories of childhood when a young man enters puberty. Does having your memory erased sound like fun? I was offered this by their Medicine Man once when I was working with the Mohawk. I declined very politely. Why is it that when your on E and you go to use the washroom...first of all it TAKES FOREVER!!!!! and second, after your done and you look into the mirror you look really fucked up..I mean sometimes it takes a second to recognize who I am....what a trip!!!!

Well, when tripping on E your body sets himself in the fight or flight status. Meaning that some parts of your body get a higher priority, and others a lower priority. The flight or fight status is a preparation of the body for action, reflexes and such. Your weener has no use at all while fighting a bear (for example) and therefore it can take a while before it is 'active' again.


I've posted something of how and why things like this happen somehwere else, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now...

MDMA affects the serotonine-system, the dopamine-system and the noradrenaline-system the most. The one we need is the last, the affection of the noradrenaline-system, which is needed to be taken up again (the reuptake of noradrenaline). The MDMA interrupts the system and applies a change, as it also does to the serotonine and the dopamine.


Your autonomic nerve system consists of two parts, one of them is the sympathic nerve system (SNS), which uses thenoradrenaline as main neurotransmitter.The MDMA gives a boost to this neurotransmitter (and also to the hormone adrenaline), and theSNS will have to do a bit more than it's used to do; you can call it over-activity.


Thanks to this your body will set himself into the fight or flight status; your body prepares for action. Because of this the parts of your body that are useful during 'action' will have the highest priority. Your pupils dillate to absorb more light, the veins in your muscles widen to absorb more oxygen and feeding substances (there's the jaw clenching), and the veins in your skin become smaller because that is of no use anyway... and the list goes on and on and on. But anyway, the veins in your weener also become smaller, since the veins in your muscles will have a higher priority, and thus it can happen that you are unable to take a piss, or that is pretty hard to do.

u see crazy things on those.....u can control it though, u can see whatever u want to see.....so in a way, it's not really freightening, moreso amusing.
