Metal bowl

I have two bowels metal and glass i like the glass one and all thjat
but i think the metal on is better i dunno y. it just is. it makes more
sense yo know? glass or metal ?

i used to use metal sockets for bowls until i came across my glass pipe, and now i only occasionally smoke from socket bowls because i like glass better, the smoke doesn't taste tainted from the metal and u get a smoother hit from glass.

my votes gotta be for glass cuz a metal bowl heats up fast and burns
you, and then you gotta kick its ass. plus glass bowls are more
aesthetically pleasing.

glass or metal, makes no difference to swim.

glass bowls break easier if you scrape the resin out too agressively. Edited by: searcher

also from SWIMS experience metal bowls tend to be much deeper and thats allways a good thing in SWIMS opinion

I've never seen metal bowls as large as the ones on the majority of pieces I have (all glass.)



Also, maybe it is a local thing, but I honestly haven't met anyone that
was still using metal bowls after high school. I always found metal
pipes to be ugly, poor tasting, and more work (screens.)

I have to agree i used to smoke out of metal bowls untill i got ahold of my glass peice...now i havent smoked out of a metal bowl in a long time because i have found glass..it just tsate and hits alot smoother i think then metal...plus there a nice item to look at if i dont say so myself...nicer then ugly metal

I agree with the exception to homemade metal bowls, i wont smoke from those. I do like glass a bit more but metal or glass is fine.

glass.. pyrex to be exact is what i like.. and cleaned with
rubbing alcohol and salt every week(best formula for cleaning glass on
the cheap IMO) to make it taste better<!--

I like glass now, but I used to have a really big, deep metal homemade bowl in a pipe I made out of some weird old wooden toy that was actually nice to smoke out of. The idiot that I am, I went camping and left it behind. I just hope that the next people up there weren't some old retirees in a motorhome who wouldn't get any use out of the thing at all.

In SWIM's experience glass bowls get just as hot as metal possibly even hotter. A proper, unscratched metal bowl can actually taste pretty good. And in terms of breaking, metal makes much sense to me.
