Blotter Salvia divinorum

I was just curious if anyone knew why blotter salvia isnt readily
available online (can't find any sources from a google search anyway).
Is this because this would be illegal in that it would be preparing
salvia to be eaten? If I am not mistaken, Salvinorum A CAN be prepared
to put on a blotter. I think if one started selling salvia blotters as
such online, they could make alot of money. SWIM wouldn't mind getting
his hands on some of these himself.

Two reasons: (1) Salvia is not really orally active, although it is sublingually, (2) it's not a very good recreational drug.

I've read about Salvia blotters on the erowid. They work if you stick it under your tongue, have no idea why noone did like this. Mau be because they are not good for sale that wa. They sell these things under the pretext that it is for research or for collective purposes, but not for human consumption. Blotters would be too obvious. Besides there are an other ways to deliver Salvia, no need to be sold in blotter form, doubt that someone would take this for lsd.

if you can't UTFSE to find a simple recipie to make salvia blotters and follow those simple instructions to make them for yourself you don't deserve to have it

One time, SWIM bought some salvia from a local smartshop and the
instructions said that you had to put the salvia under your tongue and
let is sit there for about 10 min, SWIM did that and nothing happend.

He ended up wasting 1/2 of his salvia

SWIM has tried the blotter recipe on the forum, and it doesn't work.

then you have either...bad salvia or you didn't do it right
because it has worked for me

Selling as blotters would be a bad idea cause it would clearly be a preperation for human consumption.

I want to disappoint everyone here by reporting that synthesizing Salvinorin-A and it's other -B and -C counterparts is about as hard as it can get in organic chemistry, and as said before, is not _pleasantly_ orally active. Read erowid on this one. I like Sally smoked but I wouldn't call the oral, non-MAO inhibited expiriences hallucinogenic. I think this is a good reason why LSD and even Psilocybin can be found in oral doses and S. A. not.

What I'm wondering is since the Salvia blotters don't work sublingually, would they work if smoked?

Then again... If one wanted less to smoke they could get enhanced salvia.
