my cat use to smoke amanita mixed with weed quite a lot. According to what she says (my cat), it's pretty good.

How long do the effects last after smoking? Amanitas sounds like a nice experience.

Swim has smoked a. muscaria by itself in a hookah, and the taste was quite horrible. The effects never got past the point of secondhand marijuana smoke... if that.

Then again, when swim ate large dosages of it, there was really no effect but sickness... Swim believe the source from it came was reliable but isn't sure why it had no effect on him.

SWIM smoked amanita and it tasted a bit like roasting meat, but had a harsh, rubbery character. And didn't do much. SWIM has had good luck with teas, though, and even cold water extracts of whole dried mushrooms - grape juice is nice and tastes good, after 12 hours. The ambrosia society describes some interesting recipes, none mention smoking it.
