Combinations - Smoking weed when on Mirtazapine

Swim has been smoking pot for a few years and when he started he was not on any prescribed drugs. Then swim went to rehab for 6 months and there he was prescribed anxiety and depression medicene called Miron Smelt but i think its just an icelandic name for it... Mirtazapine is the english word. Now swim has bin on the Mirtazapine for 6-8 months. After swim graduated from rehab he started using drugs again and it was pretty much the same but when swim smokes weed though, he finds it really hard to breathe and gets overwhelmingly high. And when swim mirtazapine box gets empy and i dont take it for couple of days those effects seem to fade. But i never stay off them long enough to see if its the pills that are making me have difficult breathing and overwhelming high.

Does anyone here know anything about this?

SWIM takes mirtazapine 45mgs and smokes marijuana regularly.

SWIM hasn't noticed difficulty breathing and his highs seem relatively unaffected, perhaps even somewhat blunted by mirtazapine.

However, one of the listed side effects for mirtazapine IS difficulty breathing. Possible that pot could exacerbate that.

Ive combined tho two as I am prescribed mirtazapine for depression for 3 years. I find the mirtazapine takes away the anxiety i get from cannabis smoked alone. But the opiates could account for that but definitely no side effects. hope this reassures you. David.
