Drug info - Clonidine as a recreational drug?

It's a blood pressure medication, but my best friend says she has used
it as a recreational drug before.. does anyone know what im talking
about and has used it before?

I believe the medicine you were referring to is Clonidine. In addition
to its effects on blood pressure, the only possibly recreational
effects are as a (fairly ineffective) sedative.

Wouldn't it lower your bp to dangerous levels?

well, bp does go low, but not super deadly low, heartrate decreses and become sedated but got good buzz, from it

its fairly decent for sedation, and goes well when mixed with opiates, but it is mainly scripted for blood pressure and withdrawl from opiates.

Combining BP meds and opiates sounds very dangerous! The greatest health risk that opiates carry is reducing the heart rate to a dangerously low level.

Yes it's a sedative on its own. Mixed with coke it gets rid of the jitteriness and comedown.

i saw someone take 20+ pill of an unknown mg then he wrote DNR on his chest and went out for a stroll around town.he was later dragged back to my place after a frined found him drunk and crawling around on the ground of a bus stop like some random crazy person.he was fine the next day though.sadly my bp cuff and stethoscope were being borrowed by a friend trying out some sort of tma or pma type drug or id report on his condition.
