mushrooms and sex...advice for newbies?

Firstly what a great site!



my partner and I are trying sex on mushrooms this weekend for the first time....i
havnt done mushrooms for about 10 years (or anything else other than
weed for that matter) and he has only ever taken acid once a few years
back which was a bad experience for him, but we really want to try sex
on mushrooms just to see what its like - does anyone have any tips on
how to make the most of the experience ie how much shrooms would be
advisable considering we may aswell be complete newbies, and to achieve
the state we want to.....a kind of sexy surreal uninhibited state with heightened sensitivity?

I recommend a dosage of 1.5g-3.5g if the shrooms are dried.

Talk each other through the trip to make the most of it so that both of you are relaxed and in a good mood.

I think it's unwise to have a set focus for the trip and to structure
it so rigorously. Take mushrooms a few times to reacqaint
yourselves with the effects and don't have any expectations from each
other. Let the trip take you and don't try and force it in the
direction of sex.



When it's the right time for you to fuck whilst tripping, the mushrooms
will let you. This isn't hard and fast advice, but I would
recommend letting go a bit more and not building up the sex on
psychedelics so much.

thats good advice thanks, I think if we do take them (tomorrow night
woohoo) we shouldnt expect it to go a certain way your right, I'll make
sure he knows that too lol!

Heh, it's just that, as a guy, I know that if I were tripping with my
girlfriend I would want to be really relaxed about it all. No

My girlfriend and I have wanted to try this for some time yet each time we have mushrooms we seem to be taken in another direction, so I'm curious as to how you went...


I agree that you shouldn't focus too much on a set plan for your trips. Let the mushrooms take you where ever is right at the time... This will make for a much more enjoyable trip.

In my experience i would have ot agree with ^. He/She seems to be a smart person HAHA. the only thing else i would mention is that other regions, not only the face look a hell of alot different, depending on the intensity of the visuals, so jsut be ready for things not to look the way u would notmally expect.
