recently decided to find out if he could get high smoking oxycodone
obtained via a cold water extraction from percocet (5/325).
SWIM enjoys smoking oxycontin off of tin foil quite a bit, it is his favorite ROA and his DOC
. Unfortunately for SWIM, he has no way to acquire a prescription for oxycontin nor can he afford the outrageous prices that OCs cost on the street. SWIM does, however, have a prescription for 90 percocet (5/325) each month. Usually SWIM is content to take his medication as prescribed but he also likes to have some fun and experiment from time to time. This is one of those times
I am not going to go into the process for performing a cold water extraction on percocet because that has been covered plenty of times. SWIM used 9 tablets containing 5 milligrams of oxycodone and 325 milligrams of acetaminophen
as well as a ton of binders and fillers. After the extraction SWIM was left with about 60ml of nearly clear liquid which he poured onto a pyrex baking dish to evaporate. In order to facilitate this process SWIM placed a desk lamp about 4 or 5 inches above the surface of the pyrex dish so that the heat from the incandescent bulb would speed up evaporation. SWIM knows that oxycodone is supposed to be sensitive to heat and light but neither proved to be a problem in the end.
After all the water had evaporated SWIM was left with a dish coated in white crystals and powder which he scraped off with a razor blade into a big pile. Obviously this was nothing close to pure oxycodone because even with a 100% yield SWIM would only have 45mg of oxycodone and the amount of powder/crystals was many times that.
SWIM got out his trusty tin foil and straw and decided to try it out. He was unable to make the powdery stuff stick together very well so he scooped up a large pile and put it onto a piece of foil. SWIM suspected that it would burn better if he could somehow make it behave as one piece rather than a pile of powder so SWIM used the oral syringe to put one small drop of water on top of the pile and noticed that the powder LOVED the water. SWIM then proceeded to use the tip of the syringe to push the powder towards the water droplet and added another drop or two until all the powder was combined in a wet lump. SWIM then heated under the lump with a lighter until the water evaporated and a small amount of smoke was produced. SWIM smoked it as if it were a piece of black tar or an oxycontin pill and was very pleased with the results. SWIM noticed that the taste was somewhat reminiscent of oxycontin but it tasted worse but not intolerable. SWIM got really high from smoking all of the extract and will probably repeat this experiment in the future if he feels like smoking oxycodone.
