Opinions - What to eat while tripping on LSD?

Swim has always had trouble eating while tripping but sometimes it
seems like swims body needs food. Swim has to force swimself to
eat. What are some peoples favorite thing or something they can
handle to eat while hallcinating?



Swim can manage soups so swim can drink a meal.

The only thing I usually feel like eating on acid is fruit.

SWIM finds eating difficult due to lack of salivation.

I love eating on cid...especially fruit, fruit smoothies, ice cream...depends on the mood, sometimes chocolate....my friends think i'm wierd. Oh and I must not forgt YOGURT!!!

I find it very hard to eat pizza. You will want to try drinking
more than eating. However, don't drink too much, thats never
good. Tea.. definitly good to drink.

I knew an utter idiot. With or without acid on board - he was deranged. One night he took a solid dose of some acid and announced he was hungry. He raided my friend's kitchen and settled on a full one-pound box Quaker Natural granola-type breakfast cerial. He proceeded to pour out the contents into a large mixing-bowl. For milk, he substituted Grape Flavored Tang. He then ate the whole horrid mess.


He spent the rest of the night curled up in a corner of the living room - moaning and whimpering and holding his stomach. With each moan, my friend and I couldn't help it - we burst out laughing so hard I thought I'd break my ribs!

SWIM tried to eat a bowl of cereal. It ended up pissing him off due to the fact that the bowl never seemed to end.


SWIM likes chips on acid. They seem to cause taste hallucinations.

usualy i head for a glass of milk when im freaking out, kinda reminds
me of home. but when its going full out space zappage, im all for
the beers and hot pockets!

The only problem with Hot Pockets is they require cooking and once they're done cooking, they're very hot.


SWIM has a hard time taking care of these types of things at high doses. That's why he sticks to cold foods or snacks.

I do the same thing with tea. It's very familiar and comfortable, which is what you want sometimes.

SWIM likes shakes, icecream, slushies, snowconesbasically anything that is cold tastes really good and feels great when it goes in your mouth. SWIM will basically eat anything he would normally eat with the exception of a few things. SWIM would not for instance eat a steak dinner, but a few bites of a steak would be nice. SWIM has the ability to eat pretty much anything when tripping just not in large quantities.

Having spent years trying to eat on drugs SWIM has decided that it really isn't worth it: The idea of food always seems so wonderful, but in actuality it's always very difficult.


1) Fruit: Amazing to look at, smells divine, as soon as it hit's SWIMS stomach: Instant acid burn!


2) Vegetables: Full of vitaminy goodness, which becomes an issue in itself (and celery has irritating strings!)


3)Milk/Dairy products: Comforting, homely, soothing idea of creaminess, as soon as it's in SWIMS mouth: Far too rich.


SWIM was once ravenous tripping and decided that Bombay Mix was theperfect solution: Smelled wonderful, spicy, warm, redolent of India. Once she had gotten over the waves of synaesthesia and actually eaten the damn stuff itturned her mouth into the Sahara and she spent what seemed like the next 10 hours picking bits of chick pea out of her teeth


Sadly SWIM has been unable to face Bombay mix to this day


SWIM does tend to get hypoglycaemic while tripping but some slow-release nutrients a couple of hours before works for her. Something like yoghurt, nuts and dried fruit (easy on the apricots though, otherwise body load can be intense LOL).Edited by: jatelka

Oranges, for the love of god oranges, trhere so good. And theres that whole myth about Vit. C helping acid so you got that placebo thing going. Maybe the odd apple too. BUT ORANGES for sure

I try to eat as little as possible while tripping on anything because I makes the trip hit harder and faster... If I need to eat I'll wait untill the trip starts hard, then ill eat a light meal, maybe just a protein bar, or a gatorade not too much food.... especially with dxm not so much with lsd.

I like milk while tripping on LSD. If it's cold and fresh it's tasty and semi-filling. It also looks kinda weird when your vision is altered. Feels like drinking snow.
