Other - Transporting Mushrooms on an Airplane

Hello everyone. I have a hypothetical question to ask you all. Assuming, hypothetically, that I have a friend that is planning on coming out to visit me and wants to bring 1/2 of shrooms with him, but he lives far enough away thathe needs to fly rather than drive, what would be the best way, in this hypothetical scenario, for him to bring them without dealing with mailing or shipping them. (note: it's hypothetically a domestic flight, so there would be no going through customs or any of that).

Dry them, grind them, and cap them. Get a brand new bottle of vitamins that are also in capsule form. Use a razor blade to slice the safety seal from the jar, empty the vitamins, replace with shroom caps, super glue seal back in place, and pack them in your check in luggage. I have traveled with 2 oz before this way.

a few (hypothetical) points:


1. Always have an air-tight story so that if you're caught, you can walk away having only lost the stash. most scams that work this way require a partner flying with you or some sort of documentation that provides plausable deniability


2. Body scanners are becoming more and more commonplace internationally -- swallowing or using another cavity is no longer as safe as it once was.


3. Business travelers and tourists are not searched nearly as much as 20-something punks. A suit and a weary smile will go a long way.


4. I don't think someone transporting a small amount of a relatively non-mainstream substance such as mushrooms domestically has anything to worry about beyond simple common sense measures.


hypothetically speaking, if this kind of thing were something with which I were extremely familiar, I'd welcome setting up a line of secure communication to answer more specific questions.

My stupid cousin put a big green bud someone gave him inside his wallet, and he had no problems. I wonder if cocaine put into a loose powder holder or into an empty bottle of talcum powder would work if it wasn't smelled. Anyone have a guess?

smell and residue are big problems. If there are dogs or random ion scans, you are in trouble. When traveling in such a way, one would be advised to use tightly sealed packages, preferably having been packed far away from any other drug materials, and having been thoroughally rinsed in both water and alcohol.

You never said 1/2 of what of shrooms.. anyway, if it isn't much.. how
about making some sandwishes?? Or add some mushrooms to your pizza or
some other food? And bring your foos with the plane.. Remember not to
cook the mushrooms.

I'd do that pill idea. SWIM brough about 2g of DXM from O'hare to Florida that way, no prob. Just bring a few other jars of real vitamins, it'll never be looked at.

I was thinking of this same problem. How much can you fit in one vitamin pill bottle?


I like the vitamin pill bottle personally but you could always make chocolat mushrooms.
