Tryptamine Smoking Through Water.

Just a little theory i was wondering about, some input would be great.


Due to the fact that Tryptamines (and all other drugs) are smoked as a freebase, do you think it is possible to smoke DMT through a Bong or Water Pipe?


Theoretically this should work, as water won't dissolve a freebase chemical. But do you think that the water would be enough to cool the vapour down and change it from gas to liquid-solid, hence removing the DMT from your smoke?


If it were to work, this would probably make the smoke much smoother and easier to take bigger hits.

The freebase has to be somewhat soluble in water or it wouldn't be able to dissolve in the watery lining of our lungsto reach our bloodstream.I too have wondered how much would be lost in a water bong, but never actually tried to see. The only reports I've read were with dry bongs.

Yes i have been doing some research and it seems that some of the chem will be lost. However, erowid.org has a pic of a freebase DMT pipe with a water barrel.

a loss occurs, and i dont think it helps much.
i've found holding it in the carbed bulb of a glass chalet 5-10 seconds to give it time to cool down a little seems to help.

i always put my bong (with water) in the freezer before smoking ... maybe this will help coldening the smoke of the freebase pipe too? i don't know if it helps because of insufficient surface touching the smoke ... a test would be great.
