Injecting - White powder cocaine left after IV fill

Sometiimes SWIM mixes about 30 units water with .15g Coke, mixes,
draws up and when the liquid is all drawn there's still sometimes
different versions of some white powder left. SWIM thinks either
more water, or some cut that doesn't dissolve in water. Thoughts?

What'sthe difference betwen snorting and shooting up? Have you ever tried freebasing?

My friend, like actually another person, says that they're the same but
shooting comes on a little faster and is a little stronger.



SWIM thinks shooting and snorting are as different as beer and pot.



Snorting makes SWIM chatty, accelerated, social and focussed. On
a long binge sometimes makes him edgy and a bit paranoid. Always
hard on nose functionality when binging- REAL pain in the ass.



Shooting his hard in about 10-15 seconds for SWIM. Also feels way
different. Like take the word rush, change it to RUSH and accept
that it's a little scary, a little overpowering and not really able to
be defined and you're there. At higher dosages, .22g-.27g (for
SWIM, pretty good stuff) things get really intense. Hearing is
intensified in a very big and slightly altered way. And big doses
make SWIM feel something in his teeth. Others have commented on
the same, tuff to explain that one.



SWIM never freebased. Today he mixed coke and baking powder w/
water on tin foil and did that w/ a little snorting too. Then he
mowed the lawn. Didn't hit, for him, as hard as IV and seemed to
him that as hard as he tried to get all the smoke w/ his empty
ballpoint pen tube, he was wasting way too much. Final verdict:
slightly better, but slightly more wasteful than IV for cutting the
lawn

Thx for that detailed response - was just wondering as your preference seems to most certainly be shooting up.


I was under the impression that the best way to injest "pure" coke was to either freebase or smoke rocks; allegedly the "washing" process gets rid of any impurities. Are you ever concerned that you may be injecting non-coke - I mean, how worried are you about that mystery non-soluble white stuff? Can you assess the level of impurity from hit to hit by the effect?


I've always had something of an aversion to needles myself, but find cocaine quite tasty - are you able to get quality stuff easily where you are? Is availability the reason you prefer powder to crack?


Pretty much every drug under the sunis available in London, but at the moment (thankfully?) I'm out of the coke loop -I am, however,looking forward to a manic druggie weekendaway soon.

Well I'm pretty sure the process of turning powder to freebase
simulateously accomplishes a full purification. Not sure about crack.
Never done either, that's why I asked the question.





The reason I've never done either is personal, and not something I'm
trying to convince anyone of. I've been thru 1.5 rehab/recovery
programs (5 moths didn't really put my heart into it, then 2.5 years)
and the drug of choice of the majority of the people I saw and felt
just never really made it back was crack.



Also, he hears and reads that it's so hard and fast and you need more
so soon it doesn't sound like a better option to him who, with medium C
tolerance can shoot ever 45 min. to 3 hr and make a g last a day and
latenite and have fun.





I don't really know anyone who IV's coke except SWIM. In the end that
was his preference, but it's not the same party drug kinda thing for
him, would be best used for writing and/or brainstorming session
stuff. The other possibly wierd thing is that SWIM has a big thing for
needles, like he likes them almost as much as the drug.





SWIM has slammed coke over a period of 2-3 months on and off say a
total of 100 times and maybe 10-15 grams scored from various batches
from 3 sources: 1 highly trusted, 2 semi-trusted thru a friend. He's
had no problems, and no you don't cook it either.





SWIM also feels somewhat negligent for not being more careful, but
wouldn't know what to suggest short of following one of the
purification methods and that was not practical for his situation(s.)
